This is their new spring collection!

lol, the jeans are particularly alarming.

becstarlitsea · 02/04/2009 16:08

Is that a reaction of horror and disbelief or 'let's run out and buy it, people'?

If the former, I'm with you.

suggy · 02/04/2009 19:06

what I don't get is the clothes aren't that bad its what their gawdawful photies do to them that scares then willies out of me... Even the lovely Milene, Erin etc look weird on the M&S site.

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 02/04/2009 19:14

Grey half mast leggings with court shoes?

My eyes, my eyes!

WhoTookMyMemoryStick · 02/04/2009 19:16

It's like someone took the contents of my last charity bag and photographed it on someone very tall. [/twitch]

pmsl at charity bag!

The white bootlegs are very saturday night fever. In fact, I think my mum is wearing them in my christening photo c1978.

nickytwotimes · 02/04/2009 19:21

Now, I am no fashionista, but Jeezo, some of those are particularly awful.
If they are that bad on a leggy size 10, God knows what they'd be like on me.

KingRoloEgg · 02/04/2009 19:23

Sorted by bestselling

Quite worrying!

thatsnotmymonster · 02/04/2009 19:26

AAAHHHH did you see the gold leggings! [alarmed emoticon]

The photos are terrible. They make even the best of them look like something my 70yo MIL would wear.

KingRoloEgg · 02/04/2009 19:28

Harem pants!

PinkTulips · 02/04/2009 19:30

it's like someone picked the worst trousers from the fashion history of the last 50 years and put them into one collection

treedelivery · 02/04/2009 19:36

Review of the harem pants says you have just got to have the eye.

Presumably in the middle of forehead?

PinkTulips · 02/04/2009 19:45

dp just looked over my shoulder at the harem pants and said they were horrible and if he can tell..........

MrsMattie · 02/04/2009 23:14

Who the fark would look good in this monstrosity? Presumably the same woman who would look good in polka dot wedges.

I really want to write a ranty letter to M&S.

PlumpChocEggyBaps · 02/04/2009 23:47

They're not harem pants. They're a jumper. I bet they haven't even sewed the neckhole up.

Although, v useful for quick peeing.

Hee hee. Am just imagining self in the grey leggings. Like ancient chicken drumsticks.

sleepsforwimps · 03/04/2009 07:51

I think you are all overlooking that the Harem pants could work as a very handy way to carry your shopping. You could get quite a few spuds in there.

Monty27withabunnyrabbit · 03/04/2009 11:26

PMSL at this - charity bag and harem pants/jumper

Mrs Mattie, I wouldn't do the gardening in that beauty! ROFL

TheProvincialLady · 03/04/2009 11:42

PMSL at the 'chiffon parka' MrsM

I love the seasonal M&S bashing. Do you think they do it on purpose for extra publicity? Someone in marketing says to the designers "We need something that will get people talking, and obviously you lot are crap and can't design anything show stoppingly good, so best just go for hilarious instead."

drlove8 · 03/04/2009 12:04

chiffon parka " will never go out of fashion"- is that because its never been in fashion?

MrsJamin · 03/04/2009 12:43

Can't see Harem Pants without thinking of this

KingRoloEgg · 03/04/2009 17:41

...but these are lovely!

treedelivery · 03/04/2009 21:46

Saints preserve us!

With bown court shoes. Rofl. I was starting to think, hmmm, maybe it's the pics, maybe some funky young whipersnapper could carry of the mad early 90's baggy anorak and leggings thing, and look a bit funky, or something.

But no - M&S have gone mad.

bran · 03/04/2009 21:51

KingRoloEgg - I actually made a noise of alarm at that link. DH looked startled (or possibly just annoyed that I was interrupting Enterprise [saddo emoticon]).
