More difficult then I thought, time to ditch the speedo and get a nice swimsuit but Bravissimo or our local lingerie shop dont have anything I like (or the ones I like are not suitable for the local swimming pools !

Where do you buy your swimming suits? Must have good support on the top as they tend to gravitate towards my belly button!

there is a lovely swimsuit on the ideal world shopping site(i know!)that a friend of mine got and it holds everything up and in and looks fab It is called something corsetry but can't remeber exactly. My friend had a bright green one and she looked really toned in it It was about £30 i think x

figleaves

bellabelly · 02/04/2009 15:13

Right, I KNOW it's not a v glam shop but I bought two srimming cossies from Bonne Marche very cheaply and they've been fab for nork support, especially this one - £14 which is a bargain... Can't see the other one I bought on the website so maybe discontinued but the spotty one has def been the better of teh two anyway.

If you're a size 14/16 or over then there's a hidden bra swimsuit at Evans.

This floral Freya swimsuit has a hidden underwired bra.

John Lewis halterneck swimsuit with moulded cups.

£10.00 bargain from Peacocks.

Grey Speedo swimsuit with support.

I have this one but its v.speedoey.

This is nice.

TBH for swimming in local pools I think speedo ones are the best type. My gorgeous la senza tankini could not hack it and broke after a month or so of use but my dull Next and Peacocks ones have lasted.

Another not very glam but actually quite nice option is Land's End. I'm not suggesting the floral low-leg Joan Collins numbers - the mix & match stuff is nice.
They have some good sales, too.

thank you for all the links, will have a good look later when DC are in bed. Had a quick look at Amandoh links and the grey speedo seems really nice!

Not keen on strapless as boobs are too big for that to like good.

and yes agree Smurfgirl I need a robust (DC pulling) but nice looking swimsuit
