I have been eyeing up stylish women's footwear with jeans and I really like the pointy toe look

I fancy some pointy toe shoe-boot type things ,possibly with comfy rubbery type heel to cushion my ageing feet.
Anyone any ideas?

These are a whole cm lower

Must try harder ...

TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 19:55

Ok, I know these are in Australia ... but thought I'd test your reaction ...

Can you see why I don't usually post in 'Style and Beauty'??

brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:02

LOL - 'not booty enough' and 'too shoey' are one and the same are they not?

brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:10

nooo there is a fine line lolol
shoe/boot can't be seen to be a shoe under jeans which the first ones wold. The second are just too much like just shoes pmsl I sound ridiculous now

Not loafers but I like these...

TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 20:12

I know what you mean, there is a fine line.
The trouble is, everything I find has a huge heel - I have a pair of what I think you're after but they have 4 inch heels ...

Pollyanna · 16/03/2009 20:14

I have also been eyeing up stylish women for this reason (I must get away from converse...) and saw a woman in jeans and red court shoes - they looked very nice. I didn't ask where she got them from though.

The Gap sandals are lower this year, and very comfortable - I got some at the weekend with the 30% off voucher. I also think ballet pumps look ok with jeans - smarter than trainers, but perhaps not as stylish as you want?

brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:24

Like those tiger but am looking for somehting casual

polly-ballet flats are just too flat for me,I like atleast an inch

OP posts:
TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 20:31

Too high? or not casual enough?
These are quite similar to the ones I have but mine don't have laces.

brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:33

too high
I guess what I really want are loafers that have a bit of a heel

TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 20:37

brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:43

OP posts:
brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:48

OP posts:
brimfull · 16/03/2009 20:49

OP posts:
TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 20:55

What about these?
Possibly too high...

TigersEnglandChick · 16/03/2009 20:56

These are lower but are they booty enough?

brimfull · 16/03/2009 21:02
