I need to start wearing makeup to work (at least a little) if I move to new job. But can;t really be arsed.

Need a light foundation or tinted moisturiser with light to average coverage
Age 44
Skin reasonably good nick, inclined to be on the dry side typical english rose kind of coloring with faded freckles.
Easy to put on
I want to look slightly dewey (is that a word?)!

cherryblossoms · 01/03/2009 19:30

I'm so glad you came back to tell us how it went! I feel like I've enjoyed a day at SpaceNK without the attendant bother. And I'm so glad you look glossy already.

I have very very difficult skin and even i look OK with chantecaille ....

Dilettante · 01/03/2009 20:04

Mac StudioFix - have similar skin to yours - I put it on with a brush and use just the lightest sweep of coverage (it comes in a pressed powder form). The result looks like "my skin but better". I would recommend it for someone unused to wearing makeup - I hate makeup usually as it feels like I have a mask on even with the lightest formulas. With the Mac I forget I'm wearing it.

Dilettante · 01/03/2009 20:05

D'oh sorry didn't realise you'd been and gone.

spicemonster · 01/03/2009 20:15

I can confirm that FriarKC does indeed look magnificently dewy and polished

FriarKewcumber · 02/03/2009 12:54

Lipstick is actually baked earth. Have come into work wearing makeup for firtsitme in 5 years and no one has noticed. Perhaps they all think I have an interview and are being too polite to comment!
