They are fab, I have a pair from the dreaded Top Shop - like a cotton stretch legging. Thicker than leggings thinner than a trew.
Great for under boots.

I see Oasis also have them,

norksinmywaistband · 22/01/2009 21:34

Flier · 22/01/2009 21:34

here we are

and

here

so, basically, very tight trousers?

IdrisTheDragon · 22/01/2009 21:38

They look a bit like jodhpurs.

LoveMyLapTop · 22/01/2009 21:39

can you wear them if you have chunky thighs?

squeaver · 22/01/2009 21:40

Are they quite stretchy? Do you avoid the knee crumple of skinny jeans?

If yes, I'm in.

DrNortherner · 22/01/2009 21:40

Oh God they look horrendously UNflattering unless you have skinny bowed legs.

Heated · 22/01/2009 21:40

Surely only to be worn by gazelles?

DrNortherner · 22/01/2009 21:41

I would say no to chunky thighs.

LoveMyLapTop · 22/01/2009 21:45

god chunky thighs are such a bore cant wear anything trendy!

Pollyanna · 22/01/2009 21:57

Not for me, but I have non-gazelle like legs. That wont stop people though as so many people wander around in skinny jeans and look awful in them.

I dunno, maybe with a tunic and boots they would be ok? but I'm not sure if they're intended to be worn like that.

I have some. Are very tights stretchy trousers.
Fantastic.Like very thick tights or thin cotton stretch.

Ronaldinhio · 22/01/2009 22:15

lots of people will look like parsnips in them
steer clear

squeaver · 22/01/2009 22:17

I'd be a bit worried they'd be a bit principal boyish with boots

GrimmaTheNome · 22/01/2009 22:21

They look rather like what I used to wear all the time in the 80s. Wonder if I've still got them lurking in the spare bedroom wardrobe...

fishie · 22/01/2009 22:24

this sort of thing?

i think i want a pair, but not for £40

squeaver · 22/01/2009 22:31

Bloody hell anniemac!

Although I well remember lying on my bed with a coat hanger in the zip of my jeans back in the 80s

ladymariner · 22/01/2009 22:43

I can remember my friend and I taking it in turns to cut the inside seam of our already tight jeans, putting them on then sewing each other in to them!!! SOOOOOOOO tight and then finishing the "look" off with some staggeringly high stilettos!

In our defence we were young and slim.

How the mighty have fallen.......
