They are fab, I have a pair from the dreaded Top Shop - like a cotton stretch legging. Thicker than leggings thinner than a trew.
Great for under boots.

I see Oasis also have them,

not at all, long tops, ideal for pg as they show that you arent fat all over.

YOu need boots

Flier · 23/01/2009 11:18

ski-pant treggings from asos just £9.79!

piratecat · 23/01/2009 11:21

i remembeer the days when i could wear ski pants, and i had a pair that looked like jodpurs. great with boots.

think a fat bird like me could prob get away with them if i wore a long dress type top tho. Could be a great alternative to my bloody jeans.

nappyaddict · 23/01/2009 11:33

I had a pair but I lost them

anniemac-i didn't say I'd wear them, but they must be "in fashion" again. They were just in a link when i googled for treggings. honest.......

FimboRabbieBurns · 23/01/2009 16:03

Ski pants are the biz for boots though. They just look crap with heels. They are really just leggings that stay put.

Greatsweetkittyothepuddingrace · 23/01/2009 16:13

I so could not wear them, I have a huge bum and big thighs but small calves, I need bootcut all the way to balance me out.

I'm a size 8 everywhere else apart from my bum and thighs which stay a size 10 not matter how thin the rest of me gets. Nightmare getting jeans that fit, to get over the thighs the waist is really baggy.

NEver heard parsnip before but describes me exactly, will leave treggings to leeks.

Flier · 23/01/2009 16:27

exactly fimbo, I was just coming ack to say that, you wouldn't know they were ski-pants if wearing with boots, which is what I would do with leggings anyway

you could be right anniemac

hotCheeseBurns · 23/01/2009 18:19

Are the topshop treggings quite high-waisted?

FattipuffsandThinnifers · 23/01/2009 19:09

A dissenting voice here but I would never wear them, not just because they would be deeply unflattering on me, but, sorry, they remind me of those revolting thick nylonesque ski-pants people used to wear in the 80s.

73-year old MIL wears things like this too. (In her case they probably are in fact "vintage" 80s.)

TheWizardofOz · 23/01/2009 19:10

No they are cotton.
