Do you obsess about woman with large bosoms on tv? Every time I see amanda lamb/nigella/kirsty/sarah beeny etc, spend more time looking at their bosoms and what they are wearing-usually tight and clingy- thinking ugh that looks awful then gradually coming round to the point of view that perhaps it looks ok and its just my hatred of my own huge breasts coming out and perhaps I could wear stuff like that too.
So juct covering up jumper/baggy tshirts or boob flashing tight clothes-whats the verdict!

I am a 36d they do shrink a bit when I lose weight but they are too big.generally wear wrap tops and lowish necks but not tarty.A tightish pretty vest/camisole is good under a pretty cardigan that makes them look smaller and they look better with a bit of st tropez

Steppy1 · 02/04/2005 09:18

...am a 40 DD, have to "strap them down" when I teach the step class that I do...Don't mind the big boobs, just don't like the big belly and big arse that go with it !!! :0

winnie · 02/04/2005 09:57

Shazzler, your post is so offensive!
"Huge ones are horrible"

It is not what one has, but one one does with them, and feels about them, oneself!

flamesparrow · 02/04/2005 10:11

I just want to be able to buy pretty bras, with pretty straps... not hammocks

I keep meaning to save some pennies so I can get some from there

I love the blouses they have there that are done to fit boobies, instead of my normal thing of needing a size 18 to button up, but then it all flaps around the size 12 waist.

Think I need to order a new catalogue...

Demented · 02/04/2005 12:24

Bravissimo is fantastic, love the strappy tops.

I'm a 32E and seem to have settled at that size since having DS2 so thinking about investing in a strapless bra as there are so many tops you just can't wear with bras with big thick straps.

flamesparrow · 02/04/2005 12:36

If you get one that keeps you perky and stays up, pleaaaaaaaaase can you let me know

Demented · 02/04/2005 12:39

I think Coddy recommended one from Bravissimo/Figleaves but I can't remember which one! LOL! That's a lot of help!

WigWamBam · 02/04/2005 13:07

Gee, thanks Shazzler - "huge ones are horrible"? I just love being judged by the size of my breasts

My dh loves my 46Gs, and would love me with or without them. You personally may prefer smaller boobs, but what right do you have to state so categorically that "huge ones are horrible"? I think you have a lot to learn, young man.

MissWhiplash · 02/04/2005 13:11

Ample Bosom do a good range of big sizes too.

crystaltips · 02/04/2005 13:47

How do you know exactly what size you are .... I vary - depending on what shop I go to ....

miggy · 02/04/2005 16:49

I find some of the petite ranges are good if you are small but ample,eg dorothy P or anne brooks-although finding a 16 or 18 can be like hens teeth, obv can only be petite if size 10 all over!
Anyone got good solutions for swimwear-Im 10 bottom and 16/18 top so swimsuits tend to be too big on the bottom if fit on top and bikinis ditto-unless can buy seperately but dont really like them anyway.

I am a VERY BAD PERSON... my last bikini was one that I switched the sizes of the top and bottoms in the changing room

WigWamBam · 02/04/2005 17:34

miggy, what about a tankini?

The zebra print wouldn't be me but I like the black one. Last year I also got a Freya bikini and think I should have got a bigger back size, at the start of the holiday it was fine but by the last few days (I put on 5lbs) I was very uncomfortable in it and took to wearing the tankini most of the time (although don't know how much of this was to do with guessing that I had put on weight and feeling uncomfortable in myself).

desperatehousewife · 02/04/2005 19:38

aw Cod - I love you - you've been to see Dezzer Brown and you've got big baps(moi aussi) - we so should be together!
