More reductions in the Boden Sale including the lovely big button pinnafore dress

They've added more things including the dress I was after for DD at £12 - though I'm in two minds now as I bought the blue and brown spotted t-shirt dress instead when the other wasn't available. May get it for next winter. Also more reductions on things already in the sale.

Lovelysongbirdie my dd is 27 months and I ordered her the 3-4 for next winter but tbh I think she'll be wearing it a bit sooner than that. She is not very big either.

Me too. But I know I will struggle to find a long sleeve top and tights to match for next winter....
But dd loves it - she is into dots big time (has been since a toddler) so I also got her the blue big spot fleece lined anorak - a huge hit, but I won't dress her in thh dress and the anorak at the same time, could be dotty overkill

Hippotami, I've got the blue spotty coat too...it's great isn't it? Though, as you say, definately not together.

It is a fab coat But comes up a bit smaller than I anticipated. Dd had those fleece lined anoraks from Boden up until a few years ago and they always seemed big.
But this one is a size 7-8 and dd is a skinny just-6-year-old. But the coat fits perfectly. Which makes me thinkit will not last her until she is 8.
I had intended to put it away until next winter, but seeing as it fits so nicely and she adores it, I have given it to her to wear now. (plus her current coat was a slightly tired looking hand-me-down)

I am still keen on a duffle for dd. I may bite the bullet and buy her one full price next year with one of the offers they email....

dd's duffel is brill. it's huuuuuuuuuuuuge. she's 3.5 & it will definitely fit her next year. when she tried it on she decided she was going to wear it for all the days .

Hooray, I just got despatch email for the fleece lined anorak
I see the grey duffles go in and out of stock throughout the day. But not the pink or green ones

grey with pink lining. it's v chic.

Mmmm, another vote for teh grey.... I did like it, but dd had her heart set on green...

I have been watching the sale stock of the duffles, no green ones have come back (and won't now either, will they...)

Oh well.

Just promise me you won't go slightly mad over it like I just have; dh has just left to take dd to her swimming lesson. As they left, instead of saying 'have fun and do your best' to dd, I said 'don't leave her coat in the changing room, take it with you to the poolside' to dh

Dd also had her heart set on green duffle She even wrote an email to Johnnie asking if he could make some more

we've got the duffle here and am v disappointed in it - it's gone very 'pilly' and scruffy looking. Wouldn't get one again.

oooh, that is interesting ramona, because today I was oggling a girl in ds's class who has the green duffle, and it looked like it had been washed once too many times??

There was also a girl in ds's class with the big dot fleece lined anorak (the pink and grey version) and that looked lovely (and I know for a fact the girl has had it a while because she wore it on a school trip in Nov on which I helped out...

Oh well, I may still get a duffle for dd next year...

But ramona, make sure you let Johnnie Boden know about the pilling so he can rectify it for next year. Also he may send you some money off vouchers to compensate (according to a friend of mine he is very good like that!)

Ramona, there are lots of comments on the Mini Boden page about the pillign on the duffle adn it looks like customer services were very helpful in offering refunds...

oh - didn't even think about a refund, might try that route. Had bought in summer when they were offering 20% off autumn things, so no comments had even been posted.

Had a Boden delivery this morning!

The duffle coat will be going back. The wool already looks quite loose and pilly. Really quite disappointed

The blue spotty anorak on the other hand, is lovely

Also got the spotty anorak and dd loves it - I think their stuff is very small - dd is 10 and a half and the 13/14 year old stuff fits (she is 5ft tall and 6 stone and looks a skinny minny to me)

Wrote an email to Boden this afternoon re: poor quality duffle coat. No reply yet..
Will be returning it tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about the duffle yunyun, but horray for the spotty anorak. Dd loves hers and looks utterly fab in it!
