Hobbs tights. Very disappointed. <pout>

They have gone all wrinkly and saggy at the knees and ankles after just one wear. Have thrown the pack away but I'm sure they had lycra in them.

Is this a defect as such, or is the problem with my anatomy?

Dorothy P is the way to go

£7 for 2 atm

BoccaDellaVerita · 04/01/2009 00:10

Don't know about Hobbs, but I often find posh tights disappointing. I am sure your anatomy is not the problem.

Dragonbrandybutter · 04/01/2009 00:11

don't go posh on tights!

hi bocca, long time no see.

cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:12

Posh birds don't wear tights do they?

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:13

These were in the sale @ £4 so cannot count as posh...

Do you have working class legs?

Dragonbrandybutter · 04/01/2009 00:15

i'm not sure. i will ask the next posh woman i see tomorrow if she's wearing tights.

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:15

Hmmm.. hang on cornsilk I will measure them.

Quattrocento · 04/01/2009 00:15

I'm sure it isn't your anatomy Mrs SB

Dragonbrandybutter · 04/01/2009 00:15

could be rickets

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:15

Yep 'fraid so, they are less than 38" inseam.

OP posts:
cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:16

Yes Rickets and cellulite are a no no for posh tights.

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:17

Good grief, the cellulite has not reached my knees yet, much less my ankles [rofl]

OP posts:
cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:18

Are they sticking to the false tan?

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:19

Could be rickets though. I do have a persistent problem which I am reliably informed by other MNers is called 'Dead leg'. Is this a symptom?

OP posts:
cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:20

Yes. Especially if you give dead legs to other people down the pub.

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:20

Cornsilk do you live in the house behind me, you know the one with a view into the spare room where it doesn;t matter if the fake tan splatters a bit?

OP posts:
cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:21

I may do.....

Dragonbrandybutter · 04/01/2009 00:21

rickets

notorious for getting your tights all bent out of shape. baggy tights is the first sign.

Are you still keeping bottles of Newcastle Brown in them?

MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:23

Dragon - this is the one and only genuine LOL I have had on MN so far!

OP posts:
MrsSeanBean · 04/01/2009 00:24

No Cornsilk, my legs may not be posh but my tipple of choice is

OP posts:
cornsilk · 04/01/2009 00:25

You could put Dragon's pic on your profile Sean Bean!

BoccaDellaVerita · 04/01/2009 00:25
