So I need black leather calf length boots, low wedge heel or chunky anyway or flat.
Preferably avoiding the tons of buckles around atm.

I am sure there has been many threads recently, but I have been away, so gawn indulge me. Or link me at least.

TIA

OP posts:
soyabean · 31/12/2008 16:59

I have just rashly ordered 2 pairs online:
newly wed grey
and
desert rider aubergine
I don't think I have ever bought shoes online but i really like both of these and have looked in a couple of shops but they wre out of stock, dont really have time to go shopping again. I suppose the chances are the fit will not be right but theres no postage charge and you can return to a local shop. Fingers crossed!

S1ur · 01/01/2009 00:50

thank you.

What do we think about these options?

liberty chime

merely drive

luna sparkle

and also who the fuck thinks up these names?

OP posts:
S1ur · 01/01/2009 10:16

distracting bump

oxocube · 01/01/2009 10:21

love the aubergine ones, really dislike the little grey ones. Liberty Chime and Merely Drive a bit meh, luna sparkle very sexy. Does that help at all?

Tortington · 01/01/2009 10:25

RumMum · 01/01/2009 10:25

love the boots.. but wouldn't say they were flat thought.. they all look quite high..

frisbyrat · 01/01/2009 10:27

I just got these (not in black, though). They are very comfy to walk in, and are fleece lined. Mmmmmm, cosy.

S1ur · 01/01/2009 10:28

heh you are forgiven Custy - mainly because you linked me to some good looking boots.

Quite like the moody ones..

Ah, duo. We so heart duo. Am off to Amsterdam today, curse you exchange rate for not allowing me to make a killing in the Duo shop there!

BumpermightsuetheSindie · 01/01/2009 10:29

Oooh, like custy's link.
Here's a hint: Jones the Bootmaker children's boots go up to size 6 or 7 so the knee high boots end up a bit like calf length boots but they fit and are about half the price!

S1ur · 01/01/2009 10:31

thanks oxo.

yeah rum I know but I do like heels. I was thinking they are chunky enough to still stomp in?

fris soz not keen, ta for thought though

OP posts:
S1ur · 01/01/2009 10:32

ooooh good tip - will check out Jones (only size 3 or 4 so that's cool)

OP posts:
frisbyrat · 01/01/2009 10:34

Chunkier? Or sleeker?

S1ur · 01/01/2009 10:35
