Sorry if it's been done before...

I fancy a casual dress. Would love a jumper dress but they look dreadful on me...

Didn't get any inspiration in shops. Know my mum has bought me clothes but is it a bit risky to depend on them for christmas day?

Sigh.

I was searching for something to wear today but I couldn't find anything suitable. I want a casual dress that won't be too hot for cooking in.
I loved what I wore last year which was a grey jersey dress with a puff hem and can't find anything that I like as much. I'm hoping that my Boden order may by some miracle contain something suitable (didn't order stuff with Xmas Day in mind).

what do you think of this?? I'm not sure about the pattern around the hem but the style is exactly what I'm after.

Something like this. I have a red velvet dress and a deep midnight blue one. I love them.

The first year dh and I lived together, he walked into our bedroom Xmas morning with a perfect bow tied on to his hard on. I wouldn't mind that again.
