You've got about 90minutes to persuade me yay or nay.

if you've lasted this long why do it now?

cocolepew · 24/11/2008 16:16

Yes, it won't hurt and you can have sparkly ears.

Yes! Think of all the lovely sparkly earrings you can wear this crimbo

cocolepew · 24/11/2008 16:18

Everyone wants sparkly ears.

Happy birthday, you youngster

Dragonbrandybutter · 24/11/2008 16:21

well i do think i have missed out on some serious accessorizing so far.

i'm not worried about it hurting, i had my belly done in my yoof. but more that i won't actually like wearing earrings or something.

Wilkiepedia · 24/11/2008 16:24

If you don't like it, let them heal over. No biggie. I very rarely wear mine but it is nice to have to have the option

Happy birthday to you BTW!

shootfromthehip · 24/11/2008 16:25

Do it- it'll change your life! I got mine done at 13- DD (4) was asking about getting hers done? When is the right age to get them done?

bigmouthstrikesagain · 24/11/2008 16:27

I will be 35 next b'day and I think I have missed the piercing boat - the jewellry is nice but the thought of pierced ears has never appealed for some reason.

If you want them do it! Happy Birthday

mrsbabookaloo · 24/11/2008 16:27

Hmmm...I'm not an earring wearer. I had three holes put in one ear in my yoof, but haven't worn earrings for years or had the other one pierced.

On the other hand, my mum had her ears pierced at 40 and has always been really pleased with it and always wears earrings.

It depends if you think you'll get into the habit of wearing earrings...have you got some in mind that you'll like?

belgo · 24/11/2008 16:28

I had my ears pierced at age 6 and 13. I'm 32 now, I wouldn't do it again, I'm too much of a wimp.

Dragonbrandybutter · 24/11/2008 16:29

ok, have to go, will probably do it.
i'll update later
thanks

Yes, do it! I had mine done in my 30s, and realy love being able to wear earrings. Happy birthday too (it's my birthday today as well!). Just think of all the earrings you can have for your birthday next year - I'm already wearring the new ones my sister gave me today.

foxytocin · 24/11/2008 16:35

'cause it is a rite of passage.

TheCrackFox · 24/11/2008 16:38

I didn't get mine done until I was 28. Now I have sparkly ears. Go for it.

Colditz · 24/11/2008 16:39

Yes definitely, I had mine done at 26 and have never looked back. I love wearing earrings

MaryAnnSingleton · 24/11/2008 16:51

SoMuchToBits · 24/11/2008 16:52

Glad it looks nice I have a belly bar in one of my ear lobes, it looks quite cool. Just need to find a good earring to go in the other side now.

SoMuchToBits · 24/11/2008 20:13

OOh well done Dbb! You can go round looking at all the lovely earrings in the shops now!
