yes it really hurt.
the first one more than the second, but the pain went quickly.
it's an easier pain than an ache to deal with if that makes sense.

Hurray for you! It's never too late. My dad had to give in and let me have my ears pierced when I was 14 cos his mum had gone and undermined his 'mutilation' stance by having hers done - she would have been 75.
