Billie Piper's coat

I love it and am desperate to know where she got it. Does anyone have any ideas where to get one even similar?

no ! it's like a sack made of j cloths- post baby fashion faux pas, much as I like Billie.

GentleOtter · 20/11/2008 09:32

Lol at j cloths, MaryAnn.

We live well off the beaten track so no one would see me wearing it.

arf !!

finknottle · 20/11/2008 09:39

We had something like that to cover the piano when we moved.

TsarChasm · 20/11/2008 09:45

Lol at Finknottle's piano cover

southeastastra · 20/11/2008 09:52

she must have a nanny - look she's had time to paint her nails!

squeaver · 20/11/2008 09:55

God I hate the Mail. That faux "poor Billie" tone when they're really saying "ha ha she looks like shit".

And she doesn't look like shit, bizarre coat aside (sorry otter)

blinks · 20/11/2008 09:56

orange nails at that... how 'edgy'.

Mercy · 20/11/2008 09:57

I didn't know she was married to Laurence Fox

TsarChasm · 20/11/2008 09:58

I noticed the nails too but didn't like to mention them.

She doesn't look too bad. In terms of modelling the dragged through a hedge look post baby I could have given her a run for her money. She needs a fleece and scrunchy if she's going to do it right. Amateur .

Disclaimer: I like BP and wish her well. Above is a compliment not a criticism!

GentleOtter · 20/11/2008 10:16

Right. Let's ignore Billie Piper and the Mail. I love this coat even although the y'all think it is shit.
Some of us would not know style if it came in and slapped me on the face with a fish.
Some of us have to look like a country flitting to illuminate how stylish the rest of you are and I don't do fashion but opt for comfort.

I might go mental and dye it purple - if it can be found.....

finknottle · 20/11/2008 10:24

look here

Cadelaide · 20/11/2008 10:30

She made it herself fron vintage car-seat covers.

Disclaimer: I know nothing of BP. I wish her well, however, above is a criticism not a compliment.

southeastastra · 20/11/2008 10:34

fink

maybe it's maternity?

GentleOtter · 20/11/2008 10:41

She's lovely and he's gorgeous - that voice... drool.
I shudder to think what I wore post-pg. Bad enough being sleep-deprived without having your picture on the DM website.
Didn't know they went in for so much celeb stuff, thought it was all indignant articles and recipes for Eccles cakes.

GentleOtter · 20/11/2008 10:49

< slaps side of head in a Keith 'Firestarter' Prodigy frantic sort of way>

Where do I start to look? Ok the black and white material is a bit but it could be dyed.
I am a size 16 plus VAT so it would be comfortable.

finknottle · 20/11/2008 10:58

GO, you seem to want this badly, are you sleep-deprived?

southeastastra · 20/11/2008 11:09

houndstooth isn't it?

GentleOtter · 20/11/2008 11:13

It looks like a sort of houndstooth and would it be called a parka type jacket.

The white piping is really awful but I like the shape.
