I hate the new haircut (so no need to be nice about it).

The pink hair pic on my profile gives you an idea of face shape.

The other one is the new hair so you have an idea of what we are working with!!!

My hair has a natural kink.

HELP ME!!!!!

I have an appointment on Tuesday to rectify it.

i like the colour, you could also get away with dark i feel.

personally i like long hair, so if i was you id grow it, but hopefuly someone else will have good ideas

southeastalien · 24/10/2008 20:35

i really like it, it's a nice cut

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 24/10/2008 20:37

It makes me look much older and mumsy than I want

OP posts:
southeastalien · 24/10/2008 20:39

but the photo makes you look alot younger than in the other one, and you can see your cheekbones

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 24/10/2008 20:45

Ah but you haven't seen it today - I will take another pic in a bit and you can see what happened when I washed it

i can see why you don't like the new hair, it is a bit too sober. but otherwise it isn't that bad in style, couldn't you just dye it? i have recently got a bob-type style after 20 years resistance and it does look quite nice grrrrr.

your glasses are pointing up at the outside whereas your eyes/brows point down. this makes you look slightly worried. they are great proportion but try them on upside down.

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 24/10/2008 20:46

Alas I must wear my glasses rightway up - prescription different in each eye!

I have pink and purple dye sat here... I may play in the morning. It might help with some streaks

How about going a bit shorter and flicky out. A bit like Anne Heche in that desert island film with Harrison Ford.

Helpful ain't I!

southeastalien · 24/10/2008 20:49

i still like it, it looks shiney too, leave the colour it suits you

southeastalien · 24/10/2008 20:50

if you want to be wacky wear bright eye colours

Flier · 24/10/2008 20:53

I think if you can get it to flick out, it would funk it up a bit for you. Could you try doing this with straighteners?

It looks like a good cut, and the colour does suit you, but I know what you mean - it's a bit mumsy in comparison with your pink hair lol!

yogabird · 24/10/2008 20:56

i like it and it suits you

brimfull · 24/10/2008 21:00

don't dye it pink or purple,it makes you look pale

your haircut is fine I think it need some volume though and yes flicky bits would be good too

acoady · 24/10/2008 21:09

I like it. Maybe tuck it behind your ears if you want it to look a bit younger?

Furball · 24/10/2008 21:15

If you take the sides off

or chop into it

SlasherGoober · 24/10/2008 21:18

Straighten it, run some wax through it.
I love you.

WingsofaBatEyeofNewt · 24/10/2008 21:21

The colour looks nice.
Have you got straighteners ? Would make your hair look longer in the fringe.

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 24/10/2008 22:33

Sorry - lost connection.

I wouldn't do the whole lot pink again - just a few streaks

Urbandryad suggested this

I will play with the straighteners in the morning and see if I can get it vaguely better.

I don't know why I hate it so much - it just makes me feel wrong iyswim.

OP posts:
FlameThrowersKillZombies · 24/10/2008 22:35

Think I prefer "take the sides off" pic to "chop into it" pic.

Goober - love you too

OP posts:
RottenOtter · 24/10/2008 22:39

i think if you just de- flick it with straighteners and use some ( hate the word) product to make it look more choppy/strandy then it will look fine

part it to one side

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 25/10/2008 09:36

It looks like a helmet

I am wearing a hat until Tuesday, even on Tuesday I dunno if she will be able to fix it of it is will just be worse and even shorter. My hair is hell.

TheWomanWhoAteTraffic · 25/10/2008 09:47

OOh pmsl, when I opened this thread I looked at the picture in the advert and for a brief moment thought 'it looks great'.

I think it's nice, I would try making the sides sweep forward with a bit of a flick.

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 25/10/2008 09:54

I've tried flicking, non-flicking, straighteners, products - it has just gone all floaty and mad professorish

OP posts:
FlameThrowersKillZombies · 25/10/2008 09:56

look like this but less intentional looking, just pure mess looking
