yama · 12/10/2008 15:16

Not keen. Too top heavy. Although, it may be nice on. Not much help I know.

needmorecoffee · 12/10/2008 15:16

don't like it. Its too fussy and not flattering.

MingMingtheWonderPet · 12/10/2008 15:21

I think it looks ok on the model, and if you are stading about posing, but fear it would look messy once you atually start wearing it and walking around, iyswim

lulumama · 12/10/2008 15:28

ok, thanks girls ! that'll be a no then !!!

samsonara · 12/10/2008 15:34

I do like it, but do agree with the others. I once had same situation, vouchers etc. and got a Monsoon Boucle cardigan with a ribbon belt, nobody like it on me except me! Love is blind..in fashion too!

lulumama · 12/10/2008 15:40

lulumama · 12/10/2008 16:19

nope, sorry. £79 for acrylic, it will look crap as soon as it's washed - don't do it!!!!

moondog · 12/10/2008 21:55

Tis a minger. That's for sure.

lulumama · 13/10/2008 18:28

i had not even noticed it is farking acrylic !!

thanks moondog, i get it ! it is horrible

OP posts:
WouldYouCouldYouWithAGoat · 13/10/2008 18:30

the acrylic might help keep its shape and survive washing but apart from that it isn't aufie nice.

get a good plain woolen from the old ladies section, much nicer.

lulumama · 13/10/2008 18:32

so liking cardigans is bad then?

OP posts:
WouldYouCouldYouWithAGoat · 13/10/2008 18:35

there are cardigans and there are cardigans. that one just says toast crumbs and faint smell of dog

lulumama · 13/10/2008 18:35

you are funny !

slightly offensive, but funny !

They confuse you by using fit models. You look at something (like all the Next campaign) and think-that is nice. Then you realise that it is the model that is the best bit.
I went to get my hair cut with a picture of alexa chueng and I was disappointed after then I realised I really actually wanted her face as well as her hair. Like this model- the cardigan would only look good if it came with her face for free.

slackrunner · 13/10/2008 19:17

step away from the per una lulumama. It's all vile !

lulumama · 13/10/2008 20:20

ok, then you need to find me a shop that uses models who are 5ft 2 and ample. and don;t wear acrylic cardis

OP posts:
traceybath · 13/10/2008 20:25

try kew or gap or M&S limited collection.

I am 5ft and also suffer from reverse body dysmorphia - am convinced i am 5ft10 and slender like a reed.

lulumama · 13/10/2008 20:28

me too tracy!

no gap near me. never heard of kew.

Not keen either far too fussy. i like long cardies but plain top shop jobbies.
