...I need a gold pair of shoes to wear with my bridesmaid dress.

The dress is full length so if I don't love the shoes it doesn't matter.

The problem is, I do really want something nice and glam but I want comfort as I'm going to be wearing them all day and dancing the night away!

I can't find anything suitable - help!!

What sort of budget? these are pretty £££.
Topshop
Rocket dog
Pointy (and have to say, not that keen on those ones).
Dancing shoe?

Gobbledigook · 09/10/2008 22:41

Hmm, seen those Rocket Dog ones adn quite like.

They need to have some sort of strap that holds them on - can't do with slip ons (that just slip off!).

Dancing shoes are an idea but don't like the closed toe.

Budget doesn't matter

go for comfort not glam. a strap and medium not too thin heel

no one but you will notice what your shoes are like. but you will remember if you don't have a good time coz your shoes were crippling you

lilolilmanchester · 09/10/2008 23:24

Would second dance shoes, they wil be so much more comfortable for all day on your feet. There are some fab ones out there, depends on the colour of your dress cos they come in limited colours I think. Here's http://www.f2dance.co.uk/dance_shoes.htm just an example from local shops but lots more online. Can get hold of some other websites from DD's dance teacher if you're interested.

I likethe idea of dance shoes but when would I wear them again?

lilolilmanchester · 10/10/2008 22:28

GDG, you could prob sell them at DD's dance school.

Ewe · 10/10/2008 22:39

Have you tried ebay?

If budget really not an issue what about these or these? High but designer tend to be fairly comfortable as a better structure or some magical thing.

geminigirl · 10/10/2008 23:08

Some fabby ones on

Gobbledigook · 11/10/2008 18:33

That's an idea lilo

Gemini - some lovely ones on there

Really likes

these

They look nice quality and not too high, plus straps to hold them on. I cannot do courts shoes wihtout straps - they just fall off. And slingbacks - nighmare
