MamaG · 07/10/2008 12:45

Did you order the expensive boots in the end? I loved those.

FrogPrincess · 07/10/2008 12:47

still thinks nbg needs one of the nice Missoni scarves

Nbg · 07/10/2008 12:48

lol at the day shoes
Can't quite imagine running with dd and a double pushchair in them.

Tunic is lovely. Quite floaty but suprisingly flattering too. Although that could have been the Spanx doing its work

MG, no I didnt get the high boots. I got the ones that were on my facebook profile.
Did you see them?

Nbg · 07/10/2008 12:49

Ahh but frog, I have a 9 month old and a 2 year old who would take great pleasure in throttling me with it.

MamaG · 07/10/2008 12:49

Those basebally punky ones? I liked those.

I might be in NA on Sat, are you around?

FrogPrincess · 07/10/2008 12:50

get one of the short silk ones then, that gorgeous Teal print maybe?
Then you can dress up a white shirt or a plain jumper

Nbg · 07/10/2008 13:02

Its dd's birthday party on Sat. Nightmare!

But let me know if you are coming and if you want you can come for the sterliser.
I was going to post it this week but won't bother if your coming. Will save on postage.

You keeping well though?

Frog, not so sure on the scarves.
I'll have a look though.

OP posts:
MamaG · 07/10/2008 13:08

Nbg · 07/10/2008 13:25

Excellent.
You can come during if you want but be warned, there will be 12 4/5 year old girls here.

MamaG · 07/10/2008 13:29

What time should I avoid is the party?

Nbg · 08/10/2008 13:11

Its all arrived

Everything is lush and the dress isn't as dressy as it looks on the picture, so its a definate for casual wear.

The cape is lovely too and with the belt on it, it makes it look like it has sleeves.

Very pleased.

CharleeInChains · 08/10/2008 13:20

Love the outfit in the OP!

mabanana · 08/10/2008 13:20

blimey that cape is all that money and 70per cent acrylic! Stunned. lol at man in a cape. My dh would have to go under a general anaesthetic before I could get a cape on him.

Nbg · 08/10/2008 13:28

No probs MG

Is it really 70% acrylic? I didn't even think to look.
At least it won't be a PITA to wash.

OP posts:
mabanana · 08/10/2008 13:37

true, and not so scratchy and hot, but I still think a lot of dosh for acrylic. Still, if it looks nice and it was a prize, it's definitely worth it!
