I'm hoping I might get end of season sale stuff if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I don't know what kind or colour or anything - I just know I need some.

Anyone got some nice ideas?

Cheers

baffledmum · 23/09/2008 21:23

M&S Autograph has some lovely ones in for around £39.50 a pair. Bargain!

S1ur · 23/09/2008 21:24

Oh Ruby they are really lovely, but too much to spend for me right now.

Thank you for showing the pretty though

some decent summer sale stuff here?

MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 21:27

Slurry! how about these

S1ur · 23/09/2008 21:29

Ta Baffled I'm looking there now.

While we're at it, what colours would be good and for what outfits?

Skinny jeans (when you don't want to wear heels?)
Dresses? (ditto)

Not skirts because I'm thinking boots is better...

Can I have some general advice please, pretty please?

LTEC nicee but all sale = £50 (still a bit much for me today thanks though)

Anti me ol' mucker!

I do have a secret yen for red actually and £10 now that's more like it! Not sure about white stripe though.

m&s red but bit dull compared to Ant's link.

OP posts:
S1ur · 23/09/2008 21:34

are these horrible and stupid and go with nothing?

OP posts:
hoxtonchick · 23/09/2008 21:38

i think these m&s red ones are nicer, & i like the silver too. a friend has them in gold & black & they look good & have lasted really well.

S1ur · 23/09/2008 21:45

Yeah Hox there probably are,

Hmm just seen mary jane types with bar across in yuk pattern what do people think of that bar style?

Step away from the footgloves! M&S have designed those shoes to sap youth and beauty, which they then steal and channel directly into their suspiciously large and juicy fruit produce.

Second link are nice IMO, but may be tricky to coordinate. Depends on whether you're a patterny person, or a bleak and sombre person (like me) who needs footly fluffification.

MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 21:48

I think metallic shoes are the way forward. Easy to coordinate and uplifting to look at. Too many on here to narrow down

JackieNo · 23/09/2008 21:50

Clarks have some nice ones - had some in the sale, but also have similar for winter - called something like cafe creme? V comfy too.

JackieNo · 23/09/2008 21:51

Sorry - Cocoa creme not cafe

S1ur · 23/09/2008 21:55

Oh I'm not really patterny I am all neutral and autumnal

But I am trying to be a bit more bold and upbeat. I have two new scarfs and one of them is patterned

But the only skinny jeans I have at mo that fit are... black.

OP posts:
MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 21:56

How about these plimsolly ones? Although they look like they've been laid out the wrong way round

MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 22:01

these ones are quite autumnal, and would go fine with black

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:01

Like both of those Jackie and Ant.

The ones you linked to Jacks are nice because they look a bit goldie which would be better than cream I think [bold emoticon]

Ant laces? do you think? [not so bold emoticon]

Also I have wee tiny narrow feet, size 3 and narrow. Can I wear pumps like this? or will they all be too spread?

OP posts:
S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:06

Oh Ant look at you tempting me to the dark unexciting colours side. I like them (still laces?) but they are black which is too tempting. Couldn't I use this chance to be oh so flighty and bold exciting type with red hoes? I could flit and people would see my flash of red and say look there goes a interesting woman.

OP posts:
MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 22:09

I wouldn't know. I have size 7 6 plates of meat. I can't see why someone with little fairy feet wouldn't suit pumps.

I think the laces look good (I'm guessing they have no function).

MadamAnt · 23/09/2008 22:15

Have you looked at the New Look site? Loads of red ones on there. I had bought a pair last year which I wore to death this summer (and they came up quite narrow IMO, so would be good for you).

I rely entirely on red shoes to comminicate my inner sauciness. Had a sudden realisation that DD, DS and I all wear predominantly red shoes. Am working on DH.

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:19

See I knew that about you Ant. You come across very lollipop shoes

OP posts:
S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:19

stoopid new look broken again.

I have the pleated M&S ones in a bronzey pink (£5 sale purchase when dd grabbed them off the shelf) and they are a v nice shape, also flattering to size 7s
but tehya re not leather and hence not hardwearing - I got them in June and they are shagged already.

I am tempted by the Land's End ones as, frumpy though they are, they look well made
