I'm hoping I might get end of season sale stuff if I'm lucky.

Anyway, I don't know what kind or colour or anything - I just know I need some.

Anyone got some nice ideas?

Cheers

Interesting MrsB, but at £5 you might not expect them to last that long anyway I suppose.

Which one's were Land's end ones?

I think some of this is probably best done trawling shops but that is not Nice woth two dc.

no, they were meant for a party but they were so good I wore them much more than that

Land's End ones, butu they have lots of different ones

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:45

Ah yes good link I completely see what you mean.

They are oh so frumpy even in red but they do look like they'd last.

And only £15 so hmm. But I would not be so stylish and bold. But I would be comfortable which is always a plus.

Not the quilted effect ones then, MrsB? (click on the cream option to see the full effect)

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:50

JackieNo · 23/09/2008 22:51

Really, Slur? But they're so, well, so quilted - how can you not love them ?

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:54

Ye-es they are quilted aren't they and so well.

I think they are missing a some embroidered flowers or at least a dolie.

Only if they were by Per Una, I suspect.

The Cocoa Creme ones do come in dark red, I'll see if I can find a link (summer stock, I think).

JackieNo · 23/09/2008 22:56

Patent red versions.

MrsBadger · 23/09/2008 22:57

or a little gold snaffle detail, perhaps

[ahem]

Slur, I am a dull sludgy classic neutrals dresser too, and the metallic shoes lift everything I put them with - get the Clarks ones Jackie linked to.
Actually I ahve some brown/white patterened canvas ones with a strap (Peacocks £8) v like your starry ones and they are good too.
Exciting shoes are top.

S1ur · 23/09/2008 22:58

Yeah but still £40 [fussy]

got a lovely pair from Topshop today £25.00

JackieNo · 23/09/2008 22:59

Don't see why not. I know, £40 a bit on the steep side. do you have any outlet villages near you? Might find them there cheaper.

S1ur · 23/09/2008 23:00

MrsB you are a star

These are pretty, but prob not very hard wearing.

Have just tried and failed to link to Oasis' website. They've got loads of gorgeous styles, including leopard/ zebra prints with cute bows.
