Have recently emptied one of the bags of odd socks. Now feel liberated and free!

Husband's are the worst to match because they're all quite similar but not identical. Bought some of those little socky-peggy gadgets to keep them in pairs in the wash but he can't be arsed to use them. About once a year he makes a feeble attempt at playing sock snap with the odd ones and then daughter and I do the job properly.

I believe some laydees on MN put iron-on tags on the soles of their children's socks for this very reason. Less need here as my daughter is a PFandLastB, but daughter sometimes deliberately chooses to wear my socks.

Hmmm only recently had this nightmare, twins have always shared sock drawer.

DD has nice white socks.

ds#3 had ribbed grey socks for the last 2 years but i just replaced them with plain grey.

Am now faced with 30 pairs of grey socks and not a hope in hell of distinguishing between them.

Marks trip soon then Cod?

Will happily ditch and replace, life is too short to sock sort.

Another thing Irealised recently is that nothing actiully happens if you wear odd socks.

The world still turns

The stars stay in the sky.

You don't grow horns and tail.

You just have odd socks on.

It was a liberating moment.....

Where has this odd sock craze come from? DS2 (5) does it. And he rolls down his school socks too
