I know it's still summer, but it feels like autumn so come and make your winter boots recomendations.

In a fit of organisation I threw out ALL of my winter boots as I'd had them all years and they were looking quite tatty. Now I'm faced with the task of replacing them all.

I'm on a much tighter budget now than I thought I would be when I threw them out so the prospect of finding nice reasonably priced ones is daunting.

So help me find some please.

I need Brown Knee length, Black Knee Length and a pair of ankle lenght ones (not fussed about colour)

Don't want to appear desperately untrendy, but saw some great boots in Jones the other day - in the kids section. Clearly not heeled etc, but they were £65, compared with those in same style downstairs in adult section around £100. Jones is also doing a 15% discount if you have a leaflet, so seem like a bargain. Some of their styles go up to an adult's size 7!

This is great - such lovely boots to look at, but no danger of me being tempted, my calves are sooo fat there's not a hope of any of them fitting me.

Snowleopard, Do you think Destroy boots are on the large side? because I wear a 42 or 8 1/2 . And their largest size is 8
