What have I let myself in for!! Getting Married on Sat and going away on Sunday and thought "why the hell not go the whole hog!" Getting scared about it now though!!

i use immac cream instead. will give you a whole hog baldness without the irritation.

would do a test patch first though as some people have too sensitive skin.

if your set on a wax though i definately wouldn't recommend the brazillian before your big day. you could ruin your whole day and honeymoon if it gets red and ingrown. and the hairs you've never done before will be very very thick at the root. so could also have pin prick bleeding for a day or 2.

I epilate mine to give the same effect, I like it all off. It does hurt the first few times and you can get ingrowing hairs. A few years on I have no problems though and don't even find it sore anymore. The regrowth is much less too.
The epilator is one of the best things I've ever bought.

for me it is not about the look of the thing (not as attractive as a neat trim IMO) but the extra sensation without the cushioning effect of hair IYKWIM and apparantly much more pleasant for dh to use his mouth on as you don't get hairs in your teeth. I should suggest dh gets his done too if he fancies extra attention himself.

Can't use immac as ALWAYS have a reaction to it. Might not get it all off now and just getting it taken far in with just a strip left (sorry if TMI)

One thing I wouldasy though; out local place is alot more for a brazilian than a bikini, not justifiably. Really wound me up whenI changed over!

I've prepaid for all my waxing, fake tan etc when i booked it so that I wouldn't have to worry about it. It was definately more expensive but again because its my big day thought I'd splash out!

Does removing hair help you 'splash out' then?

no need to trim before immac. and the joy is you dont need to book an appointment. do it once kids are in bed.no baby sitter required and takes a fraction of the time.

as for dp, he either shaves with the "beaver cleaver" (one of those clippers for the fanjo things) or he even immacs.

it's not as long lasting as waxing. you get about a week completely bald. then next week it grows back. but it's not stubbly like shaving.the second week is still passable.

and i do it right the way round as i too have some hair which ventures uop the back passage.

My friend shaved at the time now much better but still has a brazillian. She used to wear a vest but perhaps couldnt fit bras.

My beautician says that now practically everyone has brazilians and its just the older ladies who have a tidy up.
