yes i have more than that. although i have just put 5 on ebay so that helps. i probably have around 30 ish, including about 10 over £100.

Hard silver barrell type evening bag

Normal! Infact, really 19 is not that many at all when you think about all the bag genres that have to be fulfilled in our daily lives:
-everyday
-black tie
-night out with girls
-shopping
-shopping with the children
-supermarket shopping
-shopping.....

It's not that many is it when listed like that?

In fact, there is room for more surely?

Plus countless canvas shoppers.......including teh infamous 'I'm not a plastic bag' bag....

I think 19 is just too many. 18 would be a much more sensible number. Please make sure you wrap your Chanel evening bag carefully before you post it to me .

I think I have around that amount...all variatons on classic black or tan leather; apart from one red and one cream bought for specific wedding outfits, a couple of evening bags and a few canvas things for casual wear as leather bags and trainers look a bit silly together I think.

2 black barrel thing with buckles
3 black over the body bag big
4 black over the body bag small
5 tan barrel thing
6 cream clutch bag
7 red barrel type bag
8 large tan leather shopper thing that doubles as a nappy bag (is that OK DrN?)
9 dark grey canvas casual bag
10 black canvas casual bag
11 small purple evening bag
12 black velvet evening bag
13 black handbaggy type briefcasey thing
14 black rucsac type leather bag
15 mini pink Animal rucsac that I use as a casual handbag
16 mini Nike blue rucsac that I use as a casual handbag
17 cream satin evening bag (used only once for my wedding day)
18 tan over the body bag small

I also have started buying oh so environmentally friendly canvas and jute bags as an alternative to handbags and have three or four nice ones of those. My justification is that they are cheap as chips!

I have got one handbag (black leather) for when I go out without children and a small backpack for when they are with me.

No, not sad! You probably are very wise and realise we can only use one at a time!

I'm now convinced that I need a red bag. I have about 23. Every January I sob charity shop a couple to clear space for the sale bag/s.

Oh yes, go and buy a red bag now. You must. WE all need a red bag!

I must confess I have never used my red bag as never wore the red outfit....but several friends have borrowed it

I feel I need some red shoes to go with it.

I haven't bought a new bag since Christmas.....except for the canvas ones

I think I have, erm, maybe 3. I don't do bag changing - always end up with stuff missing that I desperately need.

But when you get a different bag out, I always find something in it 20 quid last time in a evening bag

And a Red bag is a must as is a teal one (don't ask, I just had to have it, it doesn't match anything, BUT I WANTED IT!)

I hide my purchases in my car till DH is out then sneak them in.
