If you were going to invest in some BENEFIT tackle, what would you go for?

I have a Benefit itch that needs to be scratched (maybe a couple of times), but can't decide. I have a fair complexion.

Another vote for Big Beautiful Eyes kit, love Dallas (summer) and Dandelion (winter) and the navy Bad Gal mascara.

Also tried Benetint Lip (slides off), Lemonaid (mmm, creasy), Hoola (very dark) & Lip Plump (did nothing) though and was unimpressed...

Packaging is indeed gorgeous, would recommend going for a makeover to find out what suits before splashing out as mistakes are expensive - although often loads of cheap deals on discontinued colours on eBay or in TJ Hughes.

thanks for all ideas so far. I have a pathological fear of ladies in white coats (does anyone else - another thread perhaps?), so needed a secret consult before I brave them!

I love my Dallas blusher and eye bright. THey are selling a kit in the buh-bye section with Dallas, eye bright and Bad gal for US$35. It is half price, for some reason.

I think Benefit cosmetic consultants are generally vastly different from the ones on other counters - much more normal, down to earth and helpful imo - and I honestly think you won't get the right products or use them right without a consultation - or that's how it works for me anyhow!

Benefit makeovers are very good actually; I had one once and she managed to actually make me look quite pretty in the space of about 2 and a half minutes! Mostly with Benetint and Dandelion.

Posie Tint is lovely, got it for my wedding day and got many compliments.

I was told by a beautician friend that the Benefit consultants aren't so much trained make up professionals as sales staff. No offence to anyone meant, obviously. I think they perhaps try harder to make you look good so you actually buy the stuff I had a horrendous Lancome makeover once, looked like a drag queen

I had a bobbi brown makeover that was VILE
