I'm in warmer climes for the duration of the UK winter so should get lots of chances to wear them. Am 5'10", 10 stone, long black hair - do you like them and do you reckon they will look ok?

nope

sorry

beanieb · 14/07/2008 16:30

I like the shorter one best, the maxi one would drown me

both too expensive for me though!

Fimbo · 14/07/2008 16:30

Yes I like them, especially as they will suit your description.

My eyes are watering at the prices though.

Some people may think you are showing off slightly though.....

MrsTittleMouse · 14/07/2008 16:31

I like the maxi dress and as you're tall you'll be able to get away with it. It sounds as though it will work well with your colouring too. I'm not so fond of the shorter one, but it's not bad, just not my taste.

TheFallenMadonna · 14/07/2008 16:32

Blimey you buy a lot of clothes Stargazing

FranSanDisco · 14/07/2008 16:33

I'd look odd popping to tesco in those beauties. I don't have the lifestyle for them (or the money)

Stargazing · 14/07/2008 16:35

sod them. I'm simply asking for an opinion from someone other than my (completely disinterested) husband - have recently had dc3 and feeling a bit unsure about clothing and style. Am I only supposed to link to Primark?!!!

btw I bought them from the US site, half the price of UK, £65 each. So not so eyewatering. £130 a pop is ridiculous.

i like the first one not the second one but i think they are very over priced

Tutter · 14/07/2008 16:35

am not a fan of maxi dresses though

Stargazing · 14/07/2008 16:37

Again - did not pay the UK price!! Please - am not a complete idjut!

TheFallenMadonna · 14/07/2008 16:37

Sorry, meant to say I like the first one a lot.

ChopsTheDuck · 14/07/2008 16:37

I really like the look of the shorter one, but can't exactly imagine when a person would normally wear it. It hardly school run attire. The first one sounds like it will suit you, I love maxi dresses.

more · 14/07/2008 16:38

They both look fantastic, and I think you will look great in them.

Fimbo · 14/07/2008 16:38

Bet you're wishing you had put the prices you paid for in the op now!

Flier · 14/07/2008 17:07

Not a fan of maxi dresses, but, from your description, you will suit it. Think the other ones is lovely.

Flier · 14/07/2008 17:10

the short one is only $135!

Boco · 14/07/2008 17:12

I think they're both lovely, you'll look great

ThePettyandIllinformedGoat · 14/07/2008 17:31

i am saving up for this little number in memory of my granny.

MsDemeanor · 14/07/2008 17:35

as you are a tall willowy black haired person I imagine you will look amazing in them both. Fabulous colours for your colouring.

Desiderata · 14/07/2008 17:40

There's nothing finer than a well-dressed goat.
