Are Halara leggings/trousers worth the hype?

I keep seeing them being advertised and they look really comfortable and flattering but I want to work out if they're worth it before shelling out!

I'd like to get a pair of leggings and trousers. I've got short legs but am currently a size 16 with a mum tum and big hips/thighs. Can anyone of similar proportions recommend a particular style of what they got on well with? There's so many different names and types, it would be great to have a rough idea of what's good as I can't afford to spend £100+ to try different styles to decide on and send back.

Thank you!

I love their leggings; I’m a size 12-14 and get a medium and they’re super comfy, don’t roll etc.

Not rolling down is great! Do you remember which style leggings you got?

I've bought denim shorts, exercise shorts, and jeans from Halara and all have been super comfy

noramoo · 16/10/2026 14:45

I recently bought the "flex high waisted jeans" and they're alright but I don't love them tbh. They're slightly more snug round the waist than I'd like even though I bought an L (meant to be 16-18 and I am a 14) and I don't think the shape is the most flattering. The fabric itself is soft though.

GreenLemonade · 16/10/2026 15:38

I have their linen like trousers. I’m not impressed. The fabric seemed fine at first but bobbled horribly after a few wears. I ordered two pairs in the same size but different colours. There’s a difference of at least 2 inches in length between the two pairs. Delivery took ages. I won’t be ordering from them again.

I have some of the work trousers and the the waist on them was quite small. They also make me so incredibly sweaty!!!! I do love the butt shaping leggins though.

helpfulperson · 16/10/2026 16:25

I bought some of the cord trousers recently and love them.

seahorsessky · 16/10/2026 17:21

No. Personally I'd pay a bit more/get better ones in sales.

QueenOfDragon · 16/10/2026 18:42

I like the fit but don’t think the jeans wash well at all after a few washes x

BoarBrush · 16/10/2026 20:52

I'm a size 8 and got the flares, they're worse than primark quality, it's not jeans at all it's jeggings. The sizes are wild too, I got my first pair of the crossover flairs in xs as it's obviously a Chinese company so expected smaller, first wear perfect on waist, legs too wide but that's common, and then baggy thigh crotch with wear.

Best thing about them the leg length

Don't recommend

This basically. Halara is up there with Shein and Temu shite so if you’re happy with that fill your boots.

Personally I wouldn’t.

mynameiscalypso · 16/10/2026 21:53

I regret buying from there. It’s cheap rubbish and their supply chains are not transparent at all. The quality is really poor.

LethargeMarg · 16/10/2026 21:59

i got the work trousers and really like them. very high waisted but they are as described, smart enough for work but feel like joggers

CheerfulBunny · 16/10/2026 22:05

I bought some wide leg Halara trousers new with tags from ebay (at about third of the retail price) out of sheer curiosity. They're ok.. but I don't really get the hype. Best thing is that they don't crease but otherwise they're very synthetic and not great quality. These people yanking the waistband about on social media and going on about how comfortable they are must have different trousers to mine! I mean, they're fine but I've had much better from M&S.

ThisGoldTiger · 17/10/2026 07:47

Thank you everyone! I'm glad I asked around before buying, sounds like the quality is quite poor and for the price they are it doesn't seem worth it!

Halara are on a par with Shein, and with a far worse returns policy/process. I made the mistake of ordering a couple of different leg lengths to see which fitted better and they make returning anything such a pain in the arse (and expensive) that I sold the stuff on Vinted instead.

In fact, I’d say if you’re still tempted to try them, find what you want and get them from Vinted.

ThisWiseRobin · 17/10/2026 11:01

They are like wearing a cloud !!!
Be generous with the size, I wish I had bought one size up, but the straight leg jeans are incredible.

Totally recommend them.

MyballsareSandy2015 · 17/10/2026 11:46

I love mine. Bought two pairs of flared high waisted jeans and also the flared leggings that can pass as work trousers. Very comfy.

I’m a 16-18 and got large/tall

Gertlushthatis · 17/10/2026 11:49

I bought some shorts for holiday but they were pretty heavy. Most of their clothes are very very synthetic so will make you smell.

Lovelydovey · 17/10/2026 21:05

I bought a pair of shorts - they were horrible shiny polyester and I don’t like them.

ForgottenPasswordNewAccount · 17/10/2026 21:09

I absolutely love the wide leg waffle trousers for work.along with some of their tops.

They are the most comfortable and flattering trousers I have

oviraptor21 · 17/10/2026 21:12

I buy lots of their sportswear and have always been very pleased with quality and comfort. Never needed to return anything so can't comment on that. The items I buy are absolutely not Shein or Temu quality!

piscofrisco · 17/10/2026 21:25

Best leggings I’ve ever had.

Torchout · 18/10/2026 00:00

I have a few pairs of trousers, a waffle knit pair and a pair of cheesecloth ones. I'm happy with the quality but bought a couple of dresses which I thought were jersey but they weren't and by the time I realised it was too late to return. Whatever you do don't pay full price if you wait a week or so an offer will come along.

plhelm · 18/10/2026 00:01

I bought some work trousers and the fit was terrible!
