Love the dress and tights combo, but ask i keep saying, I do wish she’d take at least 6” off the length of her hair.
Hair that long is aging as you get to middle age and she’s not a little girl.

Well, it's a frequent comment, @KnickerlessParsons, and it's got a bit ticklish on previous threads. I do think that very long hair is fashionable, I've noticed friends and colleagues - mature women - with waist length hair, so it seems to be a thing.
Perhaps it's to do with her cancer experience as well? Who knows. It certainly leads itself to some gorgeous updos.

I love the fact she keeps her hair as she wants. I wouldn’t choose it myself, but good for her.

On another forum someone quoted a fashionista commenting on the late Queen “The Queen is above fashion”. Good for her.

Agreed. I think it’s too much of a sweeping generalisation as well to say that very long hair is aging. Catherine is tall and she has her hair styled and I think it works for her because of this

Yes, I don't find it ageing.

I want to know how long the Princess Royals hair is...it is amazing! I imagine long hair is good for hats and tiaras and with all sorts of outfits.
Melania Trump also has long hair which suits her.

She was in her later years but in her youth she very much did wear the fashions of the times! The 80s and 90s were not great for her but the Angela Kelly years brought in her signature look of brightly coloured suits and hats.

Yes, I agree, and she did love clothes. She had some fabulous evening dresses in the early years, as the exhibition of her clothes showed.

Also we dont really want our Royal ladies to be above fashion do we?Otherwise this would be a v short and boring thread!
