What does the best dressed mum at your school gate wear?

What does the best dressed mum at your school gate wear? And where in the country are you?

Posting in the spirit of curiosity and inspiration!

I think we need a sobbing emoji. I was hoping someone would suggest a magic wand treatment that cost no more than a tenner.

There’s a mum who has a really fabulous long pink coat and an impressive trainer wardrobe who I always admire. She reminds me a bit of Julia from Motherland if she was a bit more put together.

Unfortunately I wasn't a school gate Mum, well not for until the last couple of years when I managed to get a different job 😕

So for me it breakfast club and a mix of others like me in work attire, GPs or the occasional Dad. I didn't actually notice what anyone was wearing, especially when raining/snowing, just concerned about DC settling in and sad to be leaving them in a big hall.

Was so happy to be able to take in properly but we could take DC in to the grounds so all a miss mash of loads of parents coming and going. While waiting for their classes to go in, lined up, was time for chit chat and yes you soon got to know them.

Can't remember the names but
A in sports gear having walked with DC and jogging back
B looking stressed and in a rush with 3 other kids in different schools
C very smart, own business ready to go and meet business clients
D GPs looking knackered
E lounge wear
F one who parked on the zig bag hazard hazards and waved DC off from car in PJs
