I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

@HardyJadeTurtle that's so frustrating, luckily they haven't put another batch on sale since so the calendar can't have sold to anyone else - hopefully they can reinstate the order and sort it out!?

It really feels like it wouldn't be advent season without a Harrods fk up 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've seen today so many people complaining on insta about receiving the notification after the fragrance one had sold out or the app not working at all for them. Some people have even said that the fragrance link took them to the beauty one which they ended up buying without realising.

We all know what it's like with Harrods, you can't trust that your order has gone through properly until the item is in your hands 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m leaning towards Fortnum&Mason. I think it looks great. Looking forward to the Selfridges reveal as it has a lot of decent brands listed.

F&M looks lovely but not for me, although I love a nice sock. Still pondering Harrods BAC. Not convinced by Liberty so holding out for Selfridges and SNK.

Edited to add: I appear to have transitioned from maybe thinking about buying one to thinking about which one I buy….🤣🤦‍♀️

I think the F&M calendar looks really nice - my husband bought it for my birthday and Xmas present last year and it was one of the best I’ve had.

If the Sephora guesses are correct on BD, then this is a definite yes from me.
That eye palette has been on my list for a while and was out of stock during the last Sephora members sale.

Morning all. Just checking in as I was on last year's threads.

I'm going to preorder JL later this morning. It's right up my street, with no real DoD for me, and I have a £120 JL voucher to use. No brainer really as that brings it down to almost half price.

Also interested in the Neom calendar. The candles look gorgeous this year

I see Anthropologie is imminent. I don't imagine I will go for that again as I only went for it last year due to the AnthroPerks discount.

Nothing has really wowed me so far, but fragrance advent calendars do come out later and for beauty I tend to be very happy with SpaceNK every year. Looking forward for info coming out on those!

@MrsBnow12 I had Sephora last year (amongst many others) and am eagerly waiting for the contents to be released too. I've been eyeing up that palette for a long time too!
I thought they put a lot of thought into the curation of the calendar last year and for me it was a fun experience to open.

I have a big birthday coming up so dh has offered to buy a calendar as one of my gifts . I think I might suggest harrods( I've never had it before) and buy the others myself.

Thanks! I’m a bit surprised by this one. Apart from the copper peptide cream and the AA I not tried any of the other things. This is most unusual and means I could get a calendar full of surprises and new things. Tempting.
