What bra works with dresses like this big-ish boobs?

What bra would work with this style of dress? I’ve seen a few dresses with similar necklines and I think they’d be great for this hot weather. But totally stumped re. the bra situation. I’m a 32E so braless is not an option and strapless is never that practical. Don’t mind a thin strap showing but not the cup or band.

John Lewis do a bandeau style strapless bra which is very good for under those style of dresses and comfortable too, comes in black and white

Either a bikini top and or a “pretty” bra

Strapless - Bravissimo do a number at that size. I’m 36 GG and mine is v supportive.

That wouldn’t work for big boobs - you need something underwired and much sturdier.

How about a vest with built in bra in a contrasting colour? Uniqlo do them and they do work as I am the same bra size.

I personally wouldn't wear that dress though unless you plan to wear it with a belt? It's so shapeless. Fitted waists are so much more flattering and emphasise small waists. Assuming you have a similar figure to me... I am size 10 hourglass. I can't imagine you being large if you are a 32 band. I have to wear slim fit or ribbed t shirts else they just hang straight down from the boobs and make you look enormous

How are you going to breastfeed in that ?

Pop a boob over the top? Although really only feeding at bedtime now, so shouldn’t need to pull any milk stunts. But still concerned a stick on bra might get squirted off if a baby cries in the vicinity.

I always think that style of dress is for wearing over a bright bikini or being able to go bra less.

The corner bits where the cups join the straps seem to always show, annoyingly. Maybe I’ll try a balcony style

Yes I’m a size 10 too but don’t especially like fitted stuff, especially when it’s super hot. I’m not too bothered about wearing a large sack if I can stay cool(er)! I think I can sort of get away with it as am very tall with skinny arms. But maybe I’m just deluding myself with the heatstroke?! 😂

Ah, that's where we differ then, I am only 5'4, and my arms aren't skinny, but in fairness I lift weights so have reasonable biceps, triceps and shoulders.

I look short and squat in anything loose, but I get the desire for loose in the heat. I still wear my old favourite size 14/16 dresses with a belt, but take the belt off when I am at home and let the air circulate 🤣

Do have a look at the Uniqlo vests though. All my life I thought those wouldn't work for me, so it's been not exactly life changing, but certainly a huge shift! No more bras spilling out of tops or under armpits because we need the wide bands and supporting cups

I'd wear it with a bikini probably, but I've recently discovered organic basics bandeau bra which unlike every other bandeau bra I've worn is comfortable and doesn't ride up/down or create a weird bandage indent on my chest.

Curvy Kate do a bandeau bra in black that might work!

I'm a 36HH and it gives plenty of support.

All bras for my size are industrial scaffolding.

I long since gave up any notion of dresses like the OPs.

Ditto… though mines from New Look. I have a sort of ‘sports bra’ …if that’s what they’re called… looks like a big bikini top & hides the flabby bit under my arms. Gorgeous dress but all that Nobody’s Child stuff is way overpriced!

I feel your pain as a 36J. I can only wear dresses like this bra-less round the house. Perhaps you will get a bit smaller post-breastfeeding. I, unfortunately, went from E to K when lactating and then only back down to J where I have stayed ever since. 😬

Absolutely agree about the bra with contrasting bright straps - I am wearing similar dress right now in black with a bright pink bra (also have a large chest) and I think I look great 😊

I love this style but as a fellow 32Eer only wear on holiday with a bikini underneath and as I've aged even that no longer feels right. I've tried stick on, bandeau and what feels like a million strapless bras all of which were useless. I do have a fantastic strapless wonderbra from decades ago which is fabulous but I can no longer be arsed with it so heavily structured bright bikini tops have been my go to, the connection to the cup still often shows though

Actually that’s a great idea. I have a Prima Donna black bikini top( cost a fortune but absolutely worth every penny, my last one lasted ten years) and the support is excellent but the straps are thinner than my bras.

This is what you need, I find these bikini tops much more supportive and comfortable than bras.
Theres a black halter neck one too that would look nice.
