I'm expecting this thread to be busy as we head towards both advents and autumn releases.

I have ordered quite a few times from SNK and never once have they sent me the samples or a substitute item. I complained once and got told ‘tough luck’. I now never order from them in the expectation of any samples/freebies actually arriving and have yet to be pleasantly surprised!

Re: Hera Glow UV Protector SPF - it doesn’t seem to be sold anywhere in the UK, so that’s annoying! SK don’t stock it, either, so it can’t have come from there. I think it must have been one of my Korean trip freebies- maybe from Olive Young.

I don’t think even I can justify toddling back to SK just to get some really good SPF😹

I have Cinnamon Sugar. It's a nice neutral colour. Out of the lip balmy type products I've tried so far it's my 2nd favourite. I think the Ole Henrikson has the edge on formula. Not much in it though.

I’ve finally got round to using my Laneige mini lip balms in a pot. I really like them.

A few of us have found the Here Comes the Sun box really good value if that one is included in your discount.

I use tret and thought I’d try the Medik8 crystal retinal when I got it in an advent last year, think it was 6. It did absolutely nothing for me so I think it’s much much weaker than tret (which is good if your skin doesn’t like tret).

I placed an order last week with Clarins, they were offending a “Mystery Gift” as a GWP with any order. I am always intrigued by what these might be….
My order came today and the mystery gift was a 15ml Hydra Essential silky cream and 15ml Hydra Essential face mask in a little blue pouch. A nice wee GWP and got the usual 3 sample too 😍

Well I was doing well until I nipped to Aldi to get a couple of bits. I made the mistake of going down the middle aisle and ended up with some skin tint (? Fenty), eye brow pencil (Benefit), 2x lip oils (? Dior), leave in conditioner spray (colour wow), hair taming wand (no idea what that’s a dupe of) and 2 packs of silk scrunchies (Slip dupe. For the once in a blue moon that I wear my hair up).
Ddog also got a flamingo teddy. She’s needs more teddies like I need more hair and beauty stuff! 🙈😅

Ooh that’s a good gift. I still haven’t used my Clarins samples from before Christmas - I think I got approx 8 mini items free.

I think the samples reliability have been particularly poor since the system upgrade . I’m not sure a single order I’ve placed has come with all the samples.

I just picked up a couple of bottles of the Rehab Matcha Hair Oil in Boots £10 Tuesday. I’ve not tried it before but the reviews are good and my hair is such a nightmare since starting MJ!

Long time lurker jumping back in!

I have a few basics I need to buy so was hoping for a GWP but I think only item from that CB interests me so I won't be doing that.

The edit from You Beauty which includes the Antler Wash Bag is really interesting. The Tatcha and Charlotte Tilbury both tick off things I would need, and my current wash bag is so tatty and has holes it's almost embarrassing to use! So that's a definite maybe....

Did a stash sort last night so that I could actually get the lid closed on my two lovely stash boxes. Eek! Need to be good…

(though I do have a ticket to the Sephora Spitalfields opening 🤔 )

If that’s everything in the Lancome box, I think it’s less than last year. Last year’s had a full skincare routine plus the mascara, a couple of lip products and a palette. I’m still using the last few things from it now.

I can’t see any perfume either. It seems very lacking compared to
other years. Unless of course there’s more to reveal.
