(I'm generally cautious about guests wearing white or whitish frocks to a wedding but no one is going to confuse Geri with Mel C. Come on)

I mean everyone knows Geri loves a white number, if Mel had an issue with it I’m sure Geri would have been pre-warned
but Mel doesn’t come across to me as someone who gives an arse about colours or what people wear

Not wearing white to a wedding has been a standard practice for a very long time, of course.

But I doubt she wore it without discussion, the others are in pale outfits too, maybe it was a dress code.

I think VB has admitted she doesn’t really enjoy football. So it’s a shame she chose that rather than go to her friend’s wedding. It’s not as if David was playing in the matches.

The decision was probably made when they thought that England might make the final. And Mel C would require final numbers for catering and seating.

This. At a wedding, everyone knows who the bride is and there is unlikely to be any confusion. You shouldn’t wear an actual wedding dress or do a Racquel Welch (Google ‘Racquel Welch mother of the groom’ if you are too young to remember) to try to draw attention from the bride, but no-one surely has ever mistaken a wedding guest in a pale Phase 8 frock for an actual bride.

It’s because modern Bridezillas have this idea that the single most important thing about getting married is standing out from their friends and family on the inevitable Insta or TikTok posts.

It has absolutely nothing to do with guests not being mistaken for the bride anymore, it’s about supporting a massive “Queen for a day”-sized ego trip.

Why are other women being a set of nasty bitches about another group of women who all look perfectly fine.

It was rumoured that Geri and Christian were together in Singapore when his ex partner was giving birth, and he delayed going home from Singapore.... Geri had been cruising the F1 grid for years to entice someone/anyone in. His parents didn't attend their wedding some years later which is very telling. A "family friend" used to post a lot on a forum I was on at the time about what they were putting Beverley through, and if true, it was awful. Sadly she died of a rare cancer a couple of years ago and it would appear that Olivia spends her time with her maternal grandparents and her Dad/Geri. Poor kid.
