It’s the bride’s big day and she gets to wear white; it’s a sign of respect not about being mistaken for the bride. If you and your friends don’t care then crack on, but there’s nothing wrong with brides who don’t want other women wearing white to their wedding.

Mel B’s dress looks cheap, which is a shame, and I lost the last shred of respect for Geri when she made wearing white her whole personality.

Mel C always looks low key beautiful and she so deserves all the praise after the shit she got from the media in her younger years. I really hope her new husband isn’t the kind to mess her about cause she deserves all her success and happiness.

Well I've always rolled my eyes at the 'No One But The Bride Should Wear White' rule, I've always thought it was petty and small minded and that I wouldn't care if it was my wedding...but seeing this photo has changed my mind. Were Geri holding the flowers, I wouldn't be able to tell who had just got married (clearly I also know the back story, but I would need that info)

Even if the dress code was cream or off white, she could have chosen something less wedding worthy.

Mel C is turned to the side in that pose..clearly subconsciously she realises she doesn't stand out next to Geri.

Mel Bs dress is also terrible. Emma's outfit is quirky but ok.

None are what I would expect of people who must all be reasonably well off and well acquainted with a few designers.

I find it fascinating that the assumption is that Geri chose an outfit that went against a dress code or was something that would upset the bride. Based on nothing at all. They all chose to wear whatever they wanted and all look like they had a lovely time. Wonderful. I don’t get the urge from people to rip into them for their choices.

I'm definitely not a fan of Geri though who lies about being a bereaved child to sell dreadful kids books and lies about her age and what school she went. Just unnecessary bullshit constantly.

The bride's dress should "pop" in the photos and for this, it helps if nobody else wears v light colours. (An exception is made for men's shirts)

I don't get why Geri has made wearing white/off white her entire personality. It washes her out, and with her colouring she needs to wear strong colours. Just makes me think she's just swapped her eating disorder for another form of controlled behaviour, quite sad really.

As for Mel C's dress, it's just another VB nightie that's too long but she looks happy in it and that's all that matters.
