Relaxed denim shorts, not high waisted not jorts. Help

I just want a pair of medium to low waist denim shorts. I've got thinner thighs size 12.
Want them relaxed not skin tight not baggy not a line not barrel not making me look like a garbage man.
Has anybody got any just plain kind of "day off" style shorts recommendations.

I've just brought 2 pair from next, mid rise a black pair and a blue pair both £25 and both button front not zip, which I don't usually like, but they both are so soft and comfortable no digging in when you sit down, sorry not sure how to link
