Yes or no to Jorts?

I love mine! I’m very self conscious about my legs and also struggle with chub rub so they’re a great way to stay cool and comfortable.

I'm 5ft 5, 42 and I love mine.

To be pedantic they aren't culottes. They are shorter than typical culotte length . They hit between Bermuda's and Culottes. They are also cut slightly differently.

I think they are somewhere between a Bermuda and a Culotte to be fair. They were actually quite flattering on and im 39 and 5 ft 7. But I did end up sending them back as I couldnt help thinking I looked like Fred Durst! And I knew if I mentioned it to DP he would just keep singing "Keep rollin rollin rollin" every time I wore them! 🤣

I have some dungarees that I wear and every time I come home from work dh asks if I was late (I’m not late) because I stopped for a line dancing lesson on the way back…

Fortunately I just ignore him when he comments on my clothing but this is something he would also say!

I prefer a tailored Bermuda short rather than a denim jort however the denim jorts look great if styled well. There is lots of inspo on instagram to help if you need some ideas.
I think buying denim ones cut just above the know stops them looking like skater boy shorts.

No from me because I've been wearing wide leg trousers that are a bit longer than that, see below, or Levi's denim shorts that are mid-thigh. I'm not sold on the combo of the length and the denim. They aren't ugly though!

The top is a total no. I was here for the second time around for the hanky top in 1996; we do not need another!
