I love it but 1. Is it too summery for September? 2. If it’s chilly what would you wear with it and 3. I’m 5 foot 4 the model is 5 foot 9, the trousers are going to swamp aren’t they?

But I love it and it is following me about the internet in the sale with a massive discount.

It’s not my vow renewal btw it’s my dads.

It's not too summery. If you love it go for it. I'd probably get it and then take the outfit shopping for a jacket so you can see what style works best with it

Thanks

I’d have to get the trousers taken up I’m pretty sure, but even if I do I’m worried maybe it’s a tall person outfit and I’ll look ridiculous.

Looks fab but be careful:

Absolutely gorgeous (apart from the fabric) and perfect colours for September. Should be easy to find a dark green or rust jacket or light coat to wear with it. (And you could add a vest and long warm socks if it’s suddenly unusually cold.)

No idea what you mean about it being a tall person’s outfit - it’s a short top and trousers that could easily be shortened. It’s a shame they only give a measurement for the trousers - inside leg 76 cms - how tall are you?

EdinaTheConfessor · Yesterday 07:53

I’m a touch under 5’4. I do have a short torso so disproportionately long legs so might not be too bad.

Last question though - not too pyjamary?

What is wrong with the fabric ?

EdinaTheConfessor · Yesterday 08:23

So I just measured my inside leg and from crotch to floor it’s 80cm. I appreciate the crotch will likely be low but if I pull them up a bit might get away with not having them shortened, especially if u wear a bit of a heel (although not even thought about shoes)

I think this is gorgeous and perfect for the occasion. Cream suede jacket maybe and bring a brolly. You'll look fabulous.

EdinaTheConfessor · Yesterday 08:26

I have a cream linen cropped bomber do you think that’d work? Or too casual?

Well I’ve ordered it, free returns so nothing to lose. No point speculating I may as well try the thing on!
