Body lotion that’s not greasy that’s perfect for summer.

I usually use Cerave Ceramide body lotion, it’s great works but is utterly joyless.

My luxury is the L’Occitane almond body cream or their tubs of Shea butter. Too heavy for summer.

I need something light enough to not be greasy but nourishing enough to stop the dryness and if it could make my almost 50yr old skin feel like I’m 35 again I’ll take it!

Not palmers coco butter, I can’t stand the smell.

Fenjal body lotion

Biotherm original. Smells divine and soaks in fast. I use it on holiday as aftersun too. It's just lovely.

The newish Olay ones are divine. I used the red one (niacinamide I think) throughout the winter and now I’m on the yellow Vitamin C one. Big bottle with a pump and sinks in like a dream. Usually on offer for a tenner in Boots.

I have worked my way through many of these - love a French body lotion! - but think the Vaseline in the yellow bottle (healing?) is the best junctions of very well priced, very moisturising and fast soaking-in-ness.

There was another thread recently about good body lotions for crepey skin. Mixa was mentioned a few times (French brand, I think) so I went to Boots and bought a big bottle of the Niacinamide brightening lotion, it’s lovely, sinks in quickly and has a light scent.
I’ve also used Nivea Q10 a lot in the past but the Mixa has definitely left my skin looking and feeling much better.

Soap and Glory products are great for mositurising without being sticky at a reasonable price - they are often on offer at Boots.

I love the French brands Le Petite Marseillais for body lotions, shower creams etc and Solinotes for perfume, body lotions, shower creams etc.
I wish they were available in Ireland (where I live) and in the UK.
Come on Boots, step up please.

I’m using Rehab body milk at the moment, it’s a bit runny but smells good and doesn’t feel greasy at all.

I bought this the other day, and either they have changed the formulation or it was an old pot. It smells rank, so ignore my suggestion.

I went back to this thread and bought the Garnier Intensive 7 Days body lotion recommended above and it is lovely and light and not greasy at all.
