I really like Zara’s dress. I think the model photos show a couple of ways to do the tie and she’s gone for a different way, although it does add extra bunching where the fabric is already pleated. I wish she’d changed the shoes. Maybe tan or espadrilles.
Mike’s braces seem to be holding his trousers a tad too high.

Emilia Wickstead made Harriet’s weddding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. I know the royal family don’t accept discounts or freebies but is that just the working royals? The dress full price was over £2k (plus a £1.5k bag and £500 shoes). Perhaps her bespoke wedding dress bill included a few other EW items bundled in for little to no extra cost. Or perhaps it’s rented?

I preferred her Wiggy Kit outfit last year as this outfit seems like a step up in formality which is odd as she is just at a social event with a not strict dress code. It feels like she’s dressing how she thinks someone royal should dress.

I think that's probably just the immediate working royals. I'm sure Harriet and Zara get hefty discounts. And of course the Yorks have never been ones to turn down freebies!

Not keen on Zara in that dress. There’s a lot of unflattering fabric bunching going on. Mike looks like everything shrunk in the wash.

bluegreygreen · 09/07/2026 12:08

It looked lovely as she was walking along (I was watching a Wimbledon podcast where they interviewed the Tindalls arriving).

The dress moved nicely and didn't seem too bunched up in real life.

Lol I thought Mike had put on a bit of weight round the middle. Happens to rugby players when they stop playing unfortunately. My son had the same issue.

I agree with @TimorousOrBoldthat there is a lot of unflattering fabric bunching going on. A rare fail for Rebecca Valance dresses on Zara.

I like the shade of Anne's dress, very flattering, and she's wearing white gloves! Thank goodness 😉
The pendant used to be part of a Cartier tiara.

OH I'm lusting after the pendant but would like it to be on a clip so that it could be worn on a chain.

Yes, I'd prefer that than on the pearls.

Anne looks quite nice there! I wonder if she wears her hair down when she's off-duty and doesn't get recognised?

Maireas · 10/07/2026 08:53

Maxima cycling in high heels 👌. I'm only disappointed there's no large cycling helmet.
I like the dress, it reminds me of Delft pottery.

I quite like Brigitte's suit, it's a muted colour and a boxy fit, which works.
Stephanie's dress is a very bright colour, and I don't think it suits her. Those on here who understand the colour thing would probably advise a different shade.
Her earrings, hair and makeup are spot on, though.

Max on a bike is definitely an interesting look, but the Dutch ride bikes in all kinds of outfits as it is such a commonly used mode of transport rather than a fitness thing.

deeahgwitch · 10/07/2026 09:24

I’m not keen on Maxima’s dress. Like Zara’s it has too much fabric and pattern.
I agree @Maireasthat the colour isn’t great on Stephanie.
Brigitte’s suit is ok.

KiIIingMeDeftly · 10/07/2026 09:26

Yes, I think the colour overpowers Stephanie and a softer shade would be better on her.

Sadly no Luxembourg mascots in the pictures though! Always the best accessories
