Breast feeding casual wedding guest dress

I completely can't decide what I want, so was hoping for some inspiration! Wedding is backyard bbq, but from a wealthy family in a relatively conservative not-fashion-forward country, where the weather is likely to be 25-30°. I'm still breastfeeding a very active toddler so need the dress to be accessible and easy to run in, as well as hiding low level stains! Toddler won't agree to trail round the shops and I don't even know what I want to Google.

I want something more formal than Seasalt, less officey than Cos, not as night-on-the-tiles as Morgan, more colourful than Zara, but more restrained than Boden, given that I'm a boring early middle aged mum who still tries to be her chic European younger self. I'm a size 12, wide shoulders, small bust, but need to wear an (ugly) bra due to the brest feeding so strappy is out. I have no idea what brands to look for, so am looking for some inspiration to start on Vinted. Please help!

Scarlett & Jo dresses are good for breastfeeding. As are the wrap style ones from Hope & Ivy.

Thanks! Unfortunately the H&I William Morris range is mostly sold out because they were perfect. I'll look through the rest to see if there's anything similar

I used to wear nursing dresses, Juno jacks sell some pretty ones.

There’s also a lot of this style of dress on vinted, which is easily adapted for breastfeeding by cutting some slits in the underlay.

You need the Can I Breastfeed in It? group on FB. They are brilliant at spotting breastfeeding-friendly dresses: https://www.facebook.com/groups/759340384161730

Thanks for the link! There are some interesting ideas there. Maybe skirt and top are the way to go. I'm luckily almost the opposite of that poster, but have a lot of sympathy because i definitely felt like that 6 months ago. The weight has finally just about gone and I'm comfortable in my skin. Small breasts mean I've fallen out of every nursing dress I've tried so far!

I'm a swimmer & runner, so I have a thick neck and thick thighs which makes beautiful silk trousers rip down the crotch and whilst I love the idea of shirt dresses, they just never wore worn on me. Halter necks used to be my favourite and would theoretically still work, but my breasts are a bit too flappy at the moment!

The wedding is in Germany and half the guests are medics, so boob exposure is no problem, but stripping off to my underwear might be a bit much :D

I know what I'm going to wear if I can get one from Vinted! I've always wanted one of the dresses from Heritage Clothings, but didn't have anything to wear it to. Some of their previous season ranges had buttons. Otherwise I'll look at wax cotton skirts with a nice top.
