Wedding dress like wed4lesa bluebell woods

Hi, I tried on the bluebell woods long sleeve dress from wed4less and I love the style on me.

we’re only having a low key wedding so I don’t want the £950 price tag. Can anybody find me a decent dupe? I was hoping for max £500.

I particularly love the wrap chest and the long sleeves (although I would be happy with more flowing fluted sleeves ).

I was initially wanting a floral embroidered boho style gown, and would be happy to nod to these elements still.

thanks.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.

there are a couple of options here, the embellished Coast one and the Badgley Mischka are close.

I am short and a little curvy (so anything too slinky or tight fitting or difficult to take up is a no go).

I also have a quite large bust so need coverage - although I’m 46, so don’t want a gaping cleavage, hence my preference for the wrap style cleavage.

i found A line the most flattering cut when trying dresses on.

thanks for all of your help so far x

Thanks.

That’s is so pretty. It actually looks like a wedding dress to me and not an occassion dress.

have you ever shopped with ‘ever pretty’ as I’ve never heard of them?

I liked it too, but also never heard of them, had a google. People seem pleased with them, though say to size up, and you can get them on Shein too apparently

I've never shopped there, but saw them recommended on a Facebook group I belong to. I would tend to trust the members to be genuine and realistic.
The prices feel worth a punt to me

I see it is also on Amazon, where returns will be simple.

The Ever Pretty one looks great. With all of the high street options, I would recommend spending money for really good underwear.

Have you looked at the Alie Street wedding dresses? They are on John Lewis or their own website. My friend has just bought one and it’s gorgeous.

Sleepeazie · Yesterday 15:34

Thanks @pelagra im definitely prepared to punt for that price and as @bridgetreilly says - get some good underwear.

@HelloDaisy I’ll take a look now.

I’ve got a ticket for a 50% off sale at a hotel in Sunday for some designer gowns around £500+ but tbh I don’t love any of the ones on their actual website so im not sure it’s worth the trip .

theres also a couple on Etsy that I like, and I can have these ‘made to measure’. Has anybody ever bought a wedding dress off Etsy?

Highly recommend Alie Street.
Very affordable and you can buy from their website directly or John Lewis.
The one I’ve linked has a shorter sleeve but it’s incredibly comfortable and flattering. It’s A-line and slips over the head with no zips or fastenings, like a nightdress!
There’s also a mid-length version if the full length is too long for you.
There are some long-sleeved wedding dresses in their range but I can’t comment on their fit.
