The £30 BD is interesting, did it mention how much would go to costs vs credit?

Or does it sound like they're heading towards a beauty box subscription like Glossybox or similar?

Didn’t say, they were just gauging views I think

I got the email and started to complete the survey, but I wear very little make-up and it obviously didn’t like my responses. Chucked me off after a few questions as I ‘wasn’t suitable!’ 🤣

BCSurvivor · 26/09/2026 08:53

I got the email yesterday evening, went to fill it out this morning - and the link said ''sorry, survey now closed!''

I had the same. I rarely wear make up and don't spend much on it. Had they asked about skincare or fragrance, it would have been a whole other story!

Same here, they've hardly given you 5 mins to do it.

Housewife2010 · 26/09/2026 16:13

I didn't get the email & I've had every box! 😢

That's a shame @Housewife2010

It was an email about the Liberty BAC which they've sent to customers who've bought it previously but not ordered it this year & then there's further questions about make up etc

I fall into that category. Apparently Liberty is going to rectify the situation. I’ll believe it when I see it.

That's me too. I've had it several times, including last year, but decided to give it a miss this time. They are missing my very valuable feedback. 😉

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 26/09/2026 17:52

What made me not buy it this year is because it's so predictable & some of the products just don't float my boat.
I only really like the AB Face Oil, Trinny, Violette FR, Ilia & some of the perfumes so it isn't worth me buying it.
Plus I don't like this years pattern on the inside & bag - hate peacock stuff
I also hate vanilla perfumes too.

I've bought the JL Fragrance AC & the Bonne Maman jam AC instead.
I will be buying the M&S AC when it drops.
Though I'm eyeing up F&M & the JL Candle ones even though I don't need them & my purse is groaning 😂

IlovePond · 26/09/2026 18:00

I got the survey and filled it in, but mine was just about the makeup line.

If they had asked me why I haven’t bought the a/c this year I would have told them it was because a) too much niche perfume, b) too many small sized products and c) most importantly, finding out they had put short dated and/or faulty products into lots of a/cs put me right off, as has d) insulting customers by sending out replacement products with £5 stickers on. (We know they are paying g peanuts for their a/c products, but they don’t have to rub our noses in it!)

I’m currently sitting on a lot of BD money I been saving up for the a/c and now have nothing I want to spend it on.

I am holding out for the next Members Week when I can avail myself of a relevant offer and spend the credit, then cancel BD.

It wasnt about the BAC, it was about the new Liberty make up line that they are launching. They also asked questions about a premium beauty drop subscription.

BIossomtoes · 26/09/2026 20:13

There might have been two versions.

BakeOffRewatch · 27/09/2026 09:33

Was the survey similar to the January 2025 survey we discussed here? https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/style_and_beauty/5253698-liberty-beauty-drop-spoiler-from-the-despatch-date-part-9?reply=141623735

reattached the photos for reading convenience!

I’ve just been deleting emails without reading recently so missed the survey

Ooooo I hope they give us a cheek/lip product from their new range in the October box.

I haven’t ordered the AC this year either. I don’t want any perfumes. I wish they’d do a skincare AC only!

May cancel the BD after the next box.

IlovePond · 27/09/2026 12:27

I’m definitely cancelling @ChristmasCwtch but I need to find something to spend my BD credit on first.

I have bought a lot of jewellery in the last few years! Especially in the sales.

IlovePond · 27/09/2026 12:39

That’s a possibility @CornishPorsche. I don’t ‘need’ anything, but it might be nice to get some jewellery.

I stupidly joined BD to save up for this year’s a/c, (having bought it last year), and then realised I absolutely loathed the 2026 version and don’t really like much/anything that Liberty sells on a day to day basis.

All my own fault and meanwhile I am still paying for BD 🙈

I had the email, hadn't bought an advent calendar previously, but bought one last week.

Yes, similar actually!

BakeOffRewatch · 27/09/2026 13:57

@IlovePond you can cancel BD and still have your BD credit to spend for two years “Your remaining Beauty Drop credit is valid for 24 months from your most recent payment, and your Beauty Drop voucher number will remain the same during this period.” https://support.libertylondon.com/hc/en-us/articles/26164171025681-Can-I-still-use-my-remaining-Beauty-Drop-credit-after-I-cancel-my-subscription cancel it and don’t feel pressured - you might like the 2027 or 2028 Liberty BAC!

I feel like the surveys are pointless now, I’ve never seen anything come from doing them and I’ve never won a prize they use as an incentive or heard of anyone on here winning by one. Loads of people liked that LBTY eye cream and gave feedback on it. I imagine it’s one person who really wants to make LBTY happen and they keep being given a chance to hold a referendum on it 😂

BlueLurker · 28/09/2026 00:44

I also haven’t bought the calendar, first in 5 years I’ve missed. I suspect it’s selling slower than usual, given how heavily they’ve had to push it and now the survey too. I save BD credit deliberately for it, so am unsure whether to keep going next year. A few reasons for me, but mainly it’s just the wrong type of things this year - I usually love the opportunity to try new products (and have later bought full sizes most years), but these just don’t appeal. There’s no cleanser or conditioner, just fancy glosses and oils. There’s no Vilhelm (always my fave). Too much makeup (I use so little). Oh, and I loathe ecsentric molecules, which is what made my final decision!

I have a voucher that expires this week (check yours if you haven’t spent them, anyone who bought last year’s calendar will have got one) so am hoping to find something in the 20% off deal. Recommendations welcome if you’ve found any bargains.

IlovePond · 28/09/2026 01:23

I bought last year’s calendar but never got a voucher @BlueLurker
