I think unless you're a retinal beginner getting the 3 isn't worth it.

If anyone feels bad about their spending in March this will make you feel better - this is what I bought (deep breath..):

Lash serum, perfume samples, loads of lip balms & lipsticks (AoS, WA, YSL loveshine, ole henriksen, laneige, summer Fridays, Estée Lauder & Charlotte tilbury), AoS azelaic acid & tranexamic acid serums, Jo Malone perfume, AoS trial sizes, eye creams (laneige, byoma & ELF), biodance masks, merit blush, morphe blusher, manicurist nail serum, £5 Vinted bundle - loved rodial dragons blood and a color wow product, MZ rich cream from TK Maxx, more dragons blood products from Vinted, BoJ SPF, LE lip/blush stick, kerastase shampoo.

Plus 4 handbags, 3 pairs of trainers, numerous pants, socks, jeans, trousers, tops & jackets (need a whole new wardrobe after dropping 4 dress sizes).

In my defence nothing was full price and generally at least 20% off, some were even free with Boots points or reward vouchers. I actually spent about the same as I did in February so I probably bought a similar amount, I just wasn't writing it down so couldn't remember it all by the end of the month!

As much as I told myself I'd buy less in April I'm already eyeing up the CB sale, and it's my birthday month which means I'm going to get all sorts of offers coming through. Even my optician sent me 10% off glasses this morning 🙈

2 more style Koreans boxes out soon. I'm resisting today's. Not really for me. Plus ive spent enough.

The only thing I'm succeeding in is not making any purchases from the k beauty sites (no ordres since last year) and cutting down a lot on the number of edits purchased. Small steps, I didn't buy the CB Westman edit and none of the Easter Eggs. Last year I think I got most of them.

I think the hourglass is expensive for what it is.
I got the Nuxe Reve de miel fragrance - honey water. Got a little nuxe gift set with it, bag moisturiser and of course a mini oil. Got it because it apparently matches L'occitane's honey water which was discontinued. Longevity is ok, think of it as a body mist/edt.

I bought the StyleKorean box. I was trying to be strong and just crumbled!

Just noticed this. Annoyed I did 2 big spends. Better with money or gwp. Must remember for the future.

I am not adding up what I bought in March as know it what a lot, I do sell the bits I don’t need
or want from the edits and don’t pay full price for an item unless it has a gwp or some other incentive.

I am not going to kid myself and pretend April will be a low buy as had spent £150 before 7am and have a basket ready for Sephora tomorrow - mostly Makeup by Mario as it’s the only time you can get a discount on his products.

I’ve had a very successful April! I will not talk about March and will focus that so far in April I have spent zero. Although I’m currently chatting to cult beauty about my fragrance voucher and then things may rapidly change! 🙈

Is there anything else you can recommend from the sephora sale? I say I'm not spending anything else, but I'm easily influenced 🤣

They have kind of done me a favour because with all the fragrance deals and discounts I’d definitely have gone wild 😅

I have realised that I’ve still not used my Hourglass Deer palette, so I need to dig that out.
As a side note, I couldn’t recall if it was deer or swan as I’d looked at both, so I just googled it and JL have it reduced to £46! But only available at Brent Cross (I don’t even know where that is but it may be useful to someone)

I have sold quite a few things in the past week so feeling a bit better about my recent purchases.
I still need to make a trip to SNK to test some fragrances from the edits I bought, I don’t want to test at home then discover I don’t like them, as I’ll be selling them on.

I keep wanting to buy new clothes but I’m losing weight at the moment so going to wait another month.

The Cult 5 for £5 samples aside I’ve been really good with my low buy. Just as well as I found another box of stuff I’d forgotten about yesterday. I have however bought about a million items of NFD clothing for my holiday from Vinted 🤭

Well cult beauty are supporting me with my amazing no purchases so far in April. My fragrance code doesn’t work regardless of what is in my basket and it’s now being ‘investigated’!

I'm going to be placing a Sephora order from the airport for the same reasons 😳 - a discount on MBM. I've been after the skin enhancer and blush for a while. I'm still 50/50 on the Ethereal palette, people rave about it but I'm certain I will own similar shades and even with 25% off it's still expensive.

Also considering another Rhode pocket blush, something else I really don't need. 😂

Well I'm now gold on CB which is a bit of a wakeup call. For them though they've highlighted a far too high spend and then gold rewards are a bit pants. So shot themselves in the foot there.

I think that offer has stopped today along with the £10 voucher for spending £60. All the offers stacked yesterday along with the 25% off so its a bit annoying but has stopped me spending more at least.

Cult beauty: they say you get a money off voucher for your birthday. Does anyone know when it comes? Is it on the actual day of your birthday? Mine isn't until later in the month which is annoying as I'd love to use it alongside their 25% off...

Theres a minimum spend on the birthday money off voucher. I cant recall what it is. Not sure it can be used with discounts as only 1 code can be used x

I can't remember if it's the day of your birthday or slightly earlier but it's not much earlier.

I think I recall from last year there's a minimum spend. I'm sure it's at least £50 maybe more, and there were exclusions. I'm sure it didn't work with other discounts.

I think I made a whole post about various birthday discounts and my thoughts on them last year. If you can be bothered have a look through the old threads from mid - end May last year and you might find it.

It's £60, valid for 14 days but I used mine after 16 but the code was applied to basket before 14 days was up.
