Beauty addicts assemble.

A new thread as we are powering through them at quite a rate now.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the beauty chat and we are always happy to see new posters.

Join at your peril. It can get spendy. 😬

@Willow742 I like CW Raise the Root. I use this regularly but can generally get it on offer at LF for £15 or less and I already have a back up.

I wouldn't mind trying the Gisou and Maria Nila but I have more than enough hair products to work my way through.

Hair edits tend not to be that expensive so I'd expect this to be under £40 but it's debatable whether the few things I'd like would be worth it. I find it's also hit and miss shifting unwanted hair products on Vinted so for me that's a factor too.

It's a likely no from me too unless they're planning to sell it to us for £20. 😂

I also use raise the root pretty much every wash, but it's always available somewhere for less than £15 and I have a few backups too so exactly the same.

I don't need any more styling creams (i may want all of them, but i don't need anything 😅) and I'm very happy with my current routine at the moment for shine/gloss. I've also ordered the amika soulstruck spray as I tried it in SNK and my hair was so soft afterwards (although I need to make sure I don't get it on my neck again - it made me itch).

I do have a particular love for hair products as my skin can be very temperamental, but i need to start being more sensible financially (and maybe sell some of the massive stash I already have)

EDIT: I would obviously throw out all of the above and buy two if it was £20 🤣

OvaHere · 30/03/2026 12:44

Also 3 hair mists in one edit but no shampoo or conditioner seems like an unusual choice. 😂

I'll probably get it. I also like the cw raise the root but I only have a mini in my stash. I like fable & mane products but I've not tried the oil so it'll be good to try it, I like the Amika mask, and the Sam mcknight balm so there's a few things that I know I like. I do have quite a few haircare products in my stash, but I do get through them fast, so it always needs topping up 💁🏻‍♀️ If it's £40 or under, I'll likely go for it 😊

Sminty2 · 30/03/2026 13:13

@Willow742
’Marked safe’ 🤣

Christmaschristmas · 30/03/2026 19:06

I bought three of the charity beauty boxes from JL but only two arrived, so I've got to wait for a call from the delivery department tomorrow 😕

Christmaschristmas · 30/03/2026 19:10

I got three because I had a reward for £10 off if I spent £60 on skincare 😆

@JoRaRaRaand others, have you seen the new Dior bronzer due to launch - looks too pretty to use!

@MrsBnow12 That should be in MOMA! I am not a bronzer person but I would buy one just to admire it ❤️

Soooooooo pretty! I want to own it but I know I’d never use it. So now I need to work out whether the joy of seeing it in my makeup drawer will outweigh the eventual guilt 🤦‍♀️

It's gorgeous, isn't it?! I hope I can get my hands on one 😍

BlueLimes · 30/03/2026 21:51

Gorgeous- I don’t wear bronzer but makes me want to!

OvaHere · 30/03/2026 22:55

It's very pretty but just incase anyone needs to hear it - do not buy something just for a lovely overspray, it will be gone in a few uses. 😃

The case is also nice though and that will last longer.

This is very true! I have been on the look out for a new bronzer (even though I have just ordered one of the new morphe ones 🤭) so I'm glad they're bringing out a bronzer in this case as well as a highlighter, which I really don't need 🤣 I wonder if the pink flowers in it run all the way through it 🤔 It apparently goes live at midnight tonight though, I've been trying to go to bed before 11 recently so if I stay up tonight, they best go live on time 😳

I still have some of the stars overlay on my plum parade palette still, I just pick up from around them, I'll be so sad when they've all eventually have gone 🤣

Good find!

I don’t need anymore blusher (would have to live to 500 to use what I have 🤦🏼‍♀️) but am here to recommend the Benefit Willa blusher again - in my top 3 definitely.

Doglover73 · 31/03/2026 10:03

I used to love benefit blushers. 🥰
The style Korean looks good but would be better imo if they were skin specific. Bit of everything in there.
My dd have too much stuff already. I know you can sell on but doesn't well for much ime and a hassle 🤣

Sminty2 · 31/03/2026 10:07

@TragicMuse Oh, my daughter will love that box! Thank you.

Willa is the first one to have sold out! ☺️
