CB Fragrance samples arrived. Initial thoughts

Nest Strawberry - nice, I'll give this a proper wear.
Acqua de Parma Zafferano - bit too masculine, will pass to DS.
Fugazzi Angel Dust Extrait - I like the original Angel Dust but this could be nicer. Will give this a full wear test.
Kayali Plush Pear - Okay, a bit sweet.
Kayali Sweet Peach - Also very sweet, I prefer the Plush Pear out of the two but neither are a love.

Has anyone managed to get free delivery from cult beauty for their samples in the last day or so? The codes I've tried (ANNIECB etc) don't seem to be working. I don't mind dadding something for a couple of pounds to get free delivery but there's nothing I "need".

Have given the Westman Atelier concealer, eyeliner and Prisme Libre 4 colour loose setting powder a good few uses now and I'm very pleased. The WA concealwer is excellent coverage and blends really easily, my favourite concealer by far. The Prisme setting powder I was a bit unsure of but what I really liek about it, is the silky smooth to the touch finish, excellent blending it doesnt sit in creases and fine lines and the base is excellent for makeup over the top as nothing budges. I was a bit concerned about the eyeliner reviews saying panda eyes and smudging, but having used it a few days I've not hand a single panda eye. I think that Prisme may be the reason for no smudges but I havent tried without the powder. Very pleased with these purchases and will be repeat purchases.

I've been sorting out my room today, I have a box somewhere with my SNK advent contents somewhere, so until I find it and see what I have, I'm on a temporary beauty buying ban. I have two makeup carry cases of perfume samples and small bottles so I really cant even justify the cult beauty minis.

Now I need to look at the westman atelier concealer. Have kosas foundation and concealer but a tad too fair.

I'm exactly the same. You would think that the same psychology would apply to actual money but somehow it doesn't 🤔

@OvaHere The one thing I will say about the Hourglass highlighters is the dispensing mechanism is way more complicated than it needs to be and I feel like it would be easy to take too much product (and there’s no way to get it back in!).

I also think they’re comparable to the WA ones I have (with a far less complicated mechanism!) which is why I can’t justify it. I rarely use my WA ones but am going to take them on holiday soon so I’ll see how they fair.

Has anyone tried MZ Skin The Rich Cream? My TK Maxx order arrived today and the reviews I’ve seen are good but wondering if anyone here has tried it as I trust you more… 😅

ANNIIE20 didn't work on my order so I used CBXBEAUTYCALENDAR instead. I added the Byoma Jelly Cleanser and BOJ sheet mask to my order to bring it to over £10 for free delivery. I don't need them, but I'll use them both... eventually 😜

My Kayali perfume samples have arrived too. I ordered 2 of each, which was hopeful seeing as I don't like many kayali perfumes. I do actually like both of these though 🥰

I absolutely love it. I pick it up cheap on Vinted or on offer whenever I can. It is rich but sinks in very quickly with no greasy feel, just lovely to use.

My CB samples have arrived already too but sadly not the CB scent edit which was sent earlier and now says they’ve tried to deliver it again which is clearly untrue when they’ve literally just been and delivered the sample one. Argh so annoying. Convinced it’s not going to arrive now.

On the plus side, I absolutely love the Kayali pear sample.

@GreaterCassowary Thats good to hear, it’s such a bargain on TK Maxx right now. What kind of skin type do you have if you don’t mind me asking?

@user593 It's on the oily side so I was very pleasantly surprised with this moisturiser. It was brilliant during the coldest, harshest months but I'm still enjoying it now that the weather is getting milder.

Thanks @Doglover73 - I am not on TikTok so that’s interesting. I wonder how they compare in terms of feel/look on the skin and longevity.

Not quite in the same league, but I can’t tell the difference between the Fwee blush (£16 in the UK from Boots), and the £1.50 Daiso dupe I got in Korea, (wish I had bought more!)

Aah, Daiso, loved it when we lived in the Middle East.

Ordered the jarrold lemon drop beauty box which was reduced from £80 to £50, and free delivery. Contains loads of stuff dermalogica, trinny, a BB eyeshadow and other things and s lovely makeup bag. Quite impressive for the price although I think its gone up a bit now to only 10% off original price.

Jarrold occasionally do some decent boxes, the recent tea one was ok.

The two SNK fragrance edits I was interested in have sold out online, I was hoping they'd still be in stock when I get paid next week. Never mind, Im sure something else will soon come along that I'll want instead.

Thanks for this, I was tempted when it launched but resisted but resolve is broken at £50 and I have ordered it.
