What do you order right now?

Decided to burn £500 of my bonus on something beautiful purely for me. What would you go for?

A beautiful piece of fine jewellery that’ll last forever. Clothes/bags wear out.

Where would you buy it from?

I fancy a bottle of Guerlain Rose Amira and then I'd spend the rest on some facial treatment probably.

Designer glasses frames because I wear them all the time.

I’d book myself a weekend away in a posh hotel with a spa, and spend the entire weekend having treatments, good food, nice drinks and my kindle. Perfection!

That would be way more than £500

Not in my part of the country! I just had a night away at a posh spa hotel - £70 for the room, £25 for 3 hour spa access, £20 - £40 per treatment, £30 for a steak dinner in the hotel restaurant and £4 - £7 for beer, wine etc. I think it could be doable!

Botox and highlights, or micro needling and new lips

A lovely winter coat or a pair of boots that would last many years to come.

A few nights away on my own!

Get my highlights done, take myself to a restaurant for lunch, a massage and a night in a hotel. And a small token thing like a scarf or gloves that will remind me of it.

Definitely overnight hotel with spa treatment (depends where you go, I did this for £250 last year on a special offer, and it was really nice)

Spend 50-ish on a fancy Neom candle and bubble bath.

Then I would have a browse at Toast, Sahara, Arket, Etsy (for jewellery) or on ebay for even fancier brands I like, like Zadig & Voltaire, and see if anything grabbed me. Otherwise save for when something does.

A meal in a Michelin restaurant or other good restaurant. And Dior La privee collection perfume.

It'd all be more than £500 probably 😁

Not very frivolous but an investment in myself like a few facials spread out through the year, or hypnotherapy, EMDR etc.

Either a Vivienne Westwood Sunday dress, a silver bracelet or a massive new rug for the lounge.

Metal detector

A spa day. I went to one on my birthday but the hotel needed modernising, the gym was much smaller than it appeared on-line and the place needed a deep clean. I feel I'm owed a proper spa experience.

A vintage Burberry trench coat - it’s nearly spring and my trench feels more crumpled than chic.

Some classic black loafers so I can stop living in trainers.

That should leave me just enough for the Diptyque fragrance sampler I’ve got my eye on…
