Nonwired soft bra for bigger chested women?

Has anyone tried those Shapermint-type bras that keep popping up online, are they actually any good?

I’m a 34E and if I don’t wear a padded, plunge, underwired bra I instantly look really matronly and about a size bigger. But I’m so fed up with wires.

All the non-wired bras I’ve tried so far give me the dreaded mono-boob and zero shape. Has anyone found one that gives a bit of lift/definition? Happy to look at other brands if there are better options available.

Wondering the same. Its hard when you cant try them on anywhere

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/02/2026 15:58

A friend swears by Conturve bras. I haven’t tried one yet, but they do look comfortable,

mel78y5 · 21/02/2026 15:58

I’m looking for the ones that have a more defined cup for shape, Molke don’t look like they have that. I have Lemonade ones for home, I’m on the hunt for one good enough for out the house.

Molke, either original or flex

Duckies · 21/02/2026 16:02

Brastop sell all sizes, cup and band, including non wire options. Brands like curvy Kate and panache.

HostaCentral · 21/02/2026 16:07

I am in the same boat, only worse! I am 32HH and a lot of thee brands either don't do cup sizes or don't go that big. Even the XL's don't go over my tits, and then the band is loose!

I have tried so many, and I only want them for around the house, but I still don't want a mono boob. Sigh.

itsthetea · 21/02/2026 16:26

molke do give great shape

this

I’m another Molke convert. They don’t look like they’d do much for you but now my chest looks it did in my 20’s!

TurnipsAndParsnips · 21/02/2026 19:18

M & S do a lace one in their large cup range, which is excellent.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 21/02/2026 19:19

M&S do a couple. They’re all I wear now.

Squirrelsnut · 21/02/2026 20:20

My Snag bra is very comfortable and not a monoboob creator.

swapsicles · 21/02/2026 20:39

I could do with the same, all these stretchy crop top styles can look good when you first put them on and stand up straight but I'd like to see them on after a couple of hours and the boobs have relaxed back into their natural position!

I have several shapermint bras - size 36 E after significant with loss -, previously was 38 F . I am a big fan of Shapermint Truekind Supportive Comfort Bras both now and when I was larger. The comfort is exceptional and customer service is very good for exchanges - very quick and straight forward . The smaller cup sizing of the similar looking Sweetheart Wireless Contoure Bra doesn’t work so well for me

This one works best for me: https://shapermint.com/en-GB/products/truekind-supportive-comfort-wireless-shaping-bra?variant=40278561030278

Sorry I forgot to add that the wide backstrap and 4 hooks are great for comfort and also really do give a smooth back. Also they do wash and last very well.

@TurnipsAndParsnips and @Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain
can you give links to the good M & S bras please?

LividArse · 22/02/2026 17:58

Molke original.

I was around a 34K but I don't do wires anymore.

TurnipsAndParsnips · 25/02/2026 12:29

I don’t know how to do links in the app, but it’s this one.
