We set a record with the last thread. Just 2 weeks from start to finish!!!!

So here's the new one and we're now in double digits.

As always everyone is welcome to join even if you've just been lurking, but like those kids on the back of the school bus your Mum warned you about, we are a bad influence.... 😈

Tricky dilemmas with the blushes atm. I want a pink and a coral. I have the Gucci ones in my basket on CB. GWP is decent but I’d need to buy more stuff. Now the YSL on offer at LF. And the blush desire started with the Dior sets at Christmas that I didn’t buy (wa Ted that pink). Anyone tried all three? The YSL packaging is so beautiful. Is the top cushioned leatherette or plastic?

My name on there is jojarle 💞

Sorry, I've just followed you too, I've always been apprehensive about buying off vinted so will keep an eye out as it's nice to be able to know things are genuine 😊

I can’t compare as I only have the YSL - but I have the Restless Rose and have just received the Nude Lavalliere today, both are lovely!
They have a proper cushioned/leatherette top

Edit to say the restless rose, although it looks pinky, has a coral tone to it

Hmm that's the vitamin c I use so that might be worth it for me. Not sure I can think of £100 worth of things to buy from CB right now though

Me too but not sure a £100 spend is worth it. I have one left in the stash and I could just buy it when I need it next time there's a sale or good code.

@JoRaRaRa I can’t cope with all these offers, I keep wanting to buy things that I know I don’t actually need! I have no willpower now, I just keep thinking ‘well it is nearly my birthday’ 😅

OvaHere · 21/02/2026 21:22

I really like the Huda primer too but a bronze one wouldn't work for me

Get the coral Gucci one and YSL one in pink?

Out of all the Gucci ones (with caveat I haven't yet tried the peach and bright pink that arrived today) I think Coral and Plum are the standout shades with the Arctic one in third place - that's quite a cool toned purple leaning pink.

I can't pull off a lot of coral/peach/orange leaning shades but somehow that coral one really works. I might have made an error buying the warm peach but with the massive discount it seemed worth the gamble.

Of course you probably have a totally different skin tone/undertone to me.

I’d written reply but lost it @OvaHere. I’m coo/ neutral toned - more cool in winter and spring and leaning neutral in summer/autumn. I don’t actually wear that much make up any more though so questioning my motivation here- think it might just be the dopamine hit. I’ll wait until next payday- have spent plenty over the past week.

If you won't use loads of make up and want a versatile blush that can be subtle for daily wear or built up for more glam I'd choose the colour you like best from the Gucci range.

YSL blushes are lovely too but to me they are a bit more make up-y if that makes sense, especially the ones that have shimmer in them (and YSL don't make it easy to work out which shades are the shimmer ones vs matte ones).

@keepincool - this is the EL serum that I really like, but I refuse to pay £70 for it, (especially when it used to be under £50 until recently):

https://m.esteelauder.co.uk/product/693/97390/product-catalog/skincare/

It’s on offer at the moment, tbf and is really good.

I found the Boots no7 eye serum is a pretty good substitute - I just use it on all potential wrinkly areas - not just around the eyes:

https://www.boots.com/no7-future-renew-damage-reversal-eye-serum-15ml-10322084?

It’s on offer atm with £10 off.

I also use this EL serum most nights, but unlike the above, it’s quite easy to find it on offer somewhere:

As if we haven’t spent enough money with Cult recently, they are launching a gwp with a £100 spend.
it includes: What’s inside:

This is now live for anyone thinking about it

Thelifeofawife · 22/02/2026 08:46

Thanks @MrsBnow12 I had a few things in my basket so just topped up with a couple of toiletries. I had a £5 credit as well.

I’m kicking myself though as I forgot to go through TCB, annoying with such a big spend.

I got the Gucci blush arctic rose, I’m planning to sell of a few bits so it will cover the cost of that.

BlueLimes · 22/02/2026 08:48

I had a few lovely deliveries from RM yesterday. Pleased with all 😊

I’ll put the freebie lipstick on vinted, it’s not my shade.

The plum blush is not as dark as the photo but not tried properly yet. Love love love the eye pencils.

Am thinking about it. It's one of the better GWP in a while.

I really shouldn't...

I may be retuning my order from earlier in the week and have reordered.

Has anyone tried the Dr Levy matrix?

keepincool · 22/02/2026 09:31

This is quite a good article on K-Beauty - explaining the 10-step process (no.1 is the double cleanse, so 2 steps).

I get confused with toners and essences, this explains where they should be used in your routine

Medik8 has a 20% off event plus a free full size C-Tetra if you spend over £150.

No, it has good reviews. It has retinol in it though and I wouldn't be keen on adding extra retinol on top of what I already use. I'd probably sell this one.

I'd use the DDG pads and the eye mask but really it's just the Medik8 I'm interested in. I don't need it right now but I do go through Vit C with reasonable pace. It would get used in the next 3-6 months.

I suspect I'm doing bad maths here. I could just buy one when I need it with 20-25% off, more if one of those mega codes surfaces again. I don't need to spend £100 now to get it right now.

The struggle is real. 😂

@OvaHere Me and DP both use the C-Tetra Advanced but after the 40% off gorging I’m finding it difficult to get my head around placing another order 🤣

pinkchampagne1 · 22/02/2026 09:50

That is a very tempting gwp but I am
struggling to think of anything I actually need to spend £100 on 🤔

I was considering buying the 15ml Bioeffect serum. I really like it and it barely adds to the stash as it doesn't last very long even with careful use. With a code and £5 credit I can get it down to £106.

I kind of know this is stupid reasoning as I'm typing it though.

I'm definitely doing the CB offer and I have a few things in my basket now but could add some more. I need an eye cream. I never used to use it and the MZ one from the Harrods BAC gave me milia so I think I need something lighter. Any recommendations?

I do love the Bioeffect serum. If you use it and could do with some more then it would be the perfect purchase to take you just over the £100 needed. Plus you get £200 worth in the gwp so you could look at it that the Bioeffect is free! 😆
I have 2 bottles in my stash to get through before I can purchase another one but it is a favourite of mine.

I like SR Autocorrect and Estee Lauder ANR gel eye cream is nice. The Allies of Skin is also nice but a thicker cream so might not be suitable for what you want. The Lancome one in the black pot is also similar to EL ANR and quite popular.

I also still have a couple more Bioeffect serums to use from edits so I def don't need one right now. My flawed reasoning is they are so small they only last about a month so wouldn't be a 'burden' on the stash.

I don't need any of this right now. I need to find some self restraint. 😂
