I put a sheet mask in the fridge to put on tonight but then couldn't be bothered. I'm going to have a makeup free day tomorrow, give my skin a bit of a rest, so I'll probably do it in the morning.

I can't decide if to reorder the Patrick ta stuff that I bought with 40% off so I can get the gwp. I can use the AFFCNY code and i have £20 in credit. Do I want to save the money or have more products? 🤔 I can't justify spending a further £100 plus there's nothing else I want.

@JoRaRaRa - I would stick with the 40% discount, plus CB’s CS isn’t the best so I wouldn’t personally risk an unnecessary return/refund.

I almost bought Patrick Ta to get the GWP. As you have to spend £100 it adds the free tote and blush too as well as the GWP. I backtracked again because I'm so undecided over that foundation. I need you to test yours out so I can get a real person opinion. 😁

I already need to return the gucci blush in the order as it looks like it's already been swatched 🤢 there's a finger mark in it!

🤣 Well I'm having a makeup free day tomorrow but I might try it on Tuesday. The hourglass one looks wayyyy too dark on the cardboard, their colour match thing is not good, so that's going back. The CT one looks like it'll be a good match, going by the cardboard 🤞

That’s awful @JoRaRaRa - I hope you are going to complain. I really hate products that aren’t sealed, but so many companies don’t bother.

Hopefully they'll start sealing them soon, I'm guessing 'influencers' buy them, swatch them for content and then send them back 🤢 I just hope I don't get accused of doing that.

So I decided to reorder, I remembered that I wished I'd ordered another Patrick ta blush rather then another blusher brush. I'm ready for the fight with CB customer services 💪

@JoRaRaRa I had something similar with Lookfantastic recently, they were really good about it, no questions etc, I submitted my pictures through the online portal and they offered me a full return or a partial refund.

I have also placed another order, my Laura Mercier Bath oil is running low and I thought I had some second cleanse cleansers but turns out they are all balm/oils so picked up a couple of the Kate Somerville Goat Milk cleanser.

I decided not to go for the CB order and instead save myself for the SNK makeup GWP because I really like the look of that one (not sure when it's coming though). In the meantime I bought a couple of bits that were in my CB basket from Vinted instead.

I'm really starting to learn about buying from Vinted - eg one of the things I wanted was a summer Fridays lip balm but I can just tell from looking at listings that some of them are fake so it's better not to take the chance.

There are loads of them listed. Some sellers have loads of identical ones for sale and/or loads of beauty items generally, and often other brands that I already know tend to have fakes - which I know either from here, or from reading Vinted reviews. There are people selling empty boxes. That was enough to make me suspicious, so I made sure to read reviews for all of the ones I found even if at first glance they looked legit. Sometimes someone's rating would be 4.8 but that would be lots of 5 star reviews and just one 1 star review saying they'd got a fake. Overall it was enough that I feel the SF lip balms must be one of 'those' products that gets faked and so even if lots of them are genuine, given the cost saving I'd rather just buy new on a deal.

I found exactly the same for laneige lip products, which I've seen on Temu etc so I already knew they're likely to be fake and would rather buy new.

I did order a rodial lip oil, because there were only a few listed and I could see in photos it had been in a BAC/edit so it felt like less of a risk. The two things I've got favourited and will probably buy are the color wow money mist and manicurist active shine - because again I know from here they were in BACs/edits so likely be legit.

If anyone knows of products that are often faked please share on here so we all know to avoid! I remember the hourglass brushes being mentioned on here which was useful because I get loads of them coming up.

I've just had a look on Vinted and couldn't spot any fakes? Some sellers are business sellers so they will have a lot of the same items. I sell a lot of my stash from GWP snd BAC's, but I don't necessarily take photos of them with the BAC box or gift bag. You just take a chance on Vinted and Ebay and report if any problems.

Please can I ask you all some advice on selling on Vinted? I’ve never done it before, but have a ton of clothes and some beauty stuff to shift.

On the beauty side, I have lots of perfumes from a liberty edit and the beauty drop that I will just never wear. I’m not bothered about getting loads of money for them, I’d just like not to bin them.

If I stick them all on as one listing (maybe 8-12 vials in total) is that likely to sell? I would individually photograph each one so people can see how much is left in each - some I have tried a few times before definitely deciding “no” and some I’ve literally sprayed once and knew it wasn’t for me.

@namechange0998776554799000 I've only been buying stuff from ACs and edits and I'll only buy when I can see in their listings that there's other stuff from that edit / ac, or if they've photo'd it in front of the packaging. I need to stop buying though, I keep spending any money I make 🙈🤣

@RockaLock I'd list them individually and then have a bundles discount on, then people can pick and choose what they want. Or do small bundles, 3 or 4 max so people aren't taking too much of a risk with them.

Not just so you don't buy one by accident but it gives you an idea of what buyers are wary of when you're selling. I sold a genuine set of Laneige a while back and I ended up sending the buyer screenshots of purchase info.

You can't allude to them being sprayed/tested on Vinted so just be careful with that. The listing most likely would get pulled. It's a bit frustrating because lots of us would happily buy lightly used perfume. All you can do is clearly show the level in pictures (difficult with some bottle designs)

I’m the same. I was waiting for a bit more to clear in my Vinted account before making a transfer to my savings account, then had another moment of madness and spent it all 😅 But the uncleared funds remain safe (for now)
