See here!

Looks a bit clearer than last year as they have provided lists of models per category.

Largest category has gone up to £34.95 from £30 though.

I have a willesden in orchid if anyone fancies swapping for a backpack - was a medium lucky dip

Flin · 28/01/2026 17:46

Treasure is back in stock. I've just ordered.

NormaSnickers · 28/01/2026 17:59

Argh I’ve been trying so hard to resist but have finally caved and ordered one large, one medium and two small. I do have several Roka bags that I use regularly but am hoping to get something I don’t already have, hopefully in bright colours. Code EMILYHAPPY took 10% off so got 4 dips for £67ish, happy with that as will sell on at cost price if I get something I don’t want. I’m going to try not to see in advance what I might be receving - I like the element of surprise!

If you class grey as neutral I’ve got a Kennington in Stormy.

Sorry not really the colour I am looking for. Looking more for black/beige/taupe etc. Not a big fan of grey. Thank you for the offer though, I appreciate it!

IlovePond · 28/01/2026 18:28

That’s ridiculous @ruethewhirl - the packers must have known they were picking the same size/shape of bag even if they couldn’t see the style name and perhaps the colour. The green Kensingtons were clearly all grabbed out of the same box by someone who didn’t give a monkeys!

As it was all the same order, I think it might be worth contacting ROKA and asking if, just this once, they could give you a free return. As a goodwill gesture they might even let you pick one replacement item as a one off. You won’t know unless you ask them. It’s always worth a try.

Yeah I agree, it sounds like the packer has just picked three out of the same box or container or whatever. If the customer service is as good as people keep saying hopefully they'll at least give you a free code to return the bags so you don't have to pay for shipping.

katmarie · 28/01/2026 19:54

@FLOWERYFROCKY My bags have finally arrived, and I have received the Canfield B in Taupe as expected. I am still up for the swap if you are, I've sent you a PM :)

drspouse · 28/01/2026 20:09

I ordered two small dips to get free postage on my large one and they are both exactly the same purse. They were packed in grey plastic bags not paper. Bit disappointed. But my Gatwick is great.

Snapespeare · 28/01/2026 20:14

Well, it's arrived, delighted with a Finchley A medium in sienna. Less so with a Canfield B medium in Bamboo nylon and Bantry B creative waste in black/khaki..swaps sought on the Canfield B Bantry Bs. I like cross body or totes. :-)

I also got a Canfield medium in bamboo. I will be returning it as it's not my cup of tea at all.

Have had a dispatch email but still no clue what is coming, confirmation says 1 x lucky dip.

I don't like the suspense!

XxTigerlilyxx · 28/01/2026 21:47

Debating dipping again but also want to hold off in case they do the free extra dip if spending a certain amount. I'm sure they did that last year or am I misremembering?

That's what mine did - but I had two - in opaque bags.

Snapespeare · 29/01/2026 00:01

I went again and shop is promising me a flax small Gatwick.. I shall believe it when I see it!

Yeah, they gave me a link for a free return, but said no replacements as everything's 'randomly selected' 😒 In general terms I get it, but I'm not sure it is actually all that random (see next para for why), plus given the number of dips I've ordered over the years I wouldn't have thought a bit of flexibility would have gone amiss in the interest of customer goodwill. But hey ho.

I have a theory about what might be happening here. The items were all in grey bags with nothing on the outside to give any clue what they were. I reckon that these will have originally been grouped by bag type, though, so for example with my three green Kenningtons (at least, I think they are Kenningtons, but there's just a sticker saying Lucky Dip where the bag info would usually be), because I ordered three items from the same size dip the packer has probably just reached into a box and pulled out the top three items. Which would negate the randomness somewhat, if I'm right. (And, if I am, you'd really think they'd have jumbled the items up a bit beforehand!)

I've heard a few others say they received duplicates too on ordering more than one of the same size dip, which I think may bear out my theory. I may of course be wrong about this, but I'm now thinking not ordering more than one dip of a specific size in any specific lucky dip order might be advisable in order to avoid the possibility of it happening. JMO.

If you look on the FAQ they say there is a chance of getting duplicates, but if you order them together the chances of that are much slimmer. If I read your post correctly, it seems you did order them all together.

Not that this helps really as they have covered themselves here, but I am sure this is one of the reasons why people order multiple at one time. So your order received is absolutely proof that they aren't being packed with as much care as they claim.

I don't think you should be liable for a return charge here. I really like the brand as a whole, but this seems very shoddy. It's a double duplication for goodness sakes.

isthismylifenow · 29/01/2026 04:43

Oh sorry I see they offered a free return.

Perhaps if you do reorder, ask them to check there are no duplicates before shipping.

Jins · 29/01/2026 06:50

I dipped again yesterday. One of each size. I’ve got a medium Canfield in aquatic awe showing in shop but the other two aren’t showing and it’s due for delivery today (insane speed) so I’m in for a surprise.

I’ve got two medium Canfields and a small one already so I’m expecting to return the Canfield. I’ll be returning any hats or umbrellas but I do need a small bag so would keep a Chelsea or bond unless it’s neon or pink. I’ll return a Paddington but would probably keep anything else from that group depending on colour. What I really want is a small Finchley in black or dark neutral so credit from my returns will be used for that. I’ve had no luck swapping or buying a suitable Finchley yet so I’ll wait for a sale.

Excited to see what turns up

drspouse · 29/01/2026 08:14

@ruethewhirl did you email or call to get a free return? I got two of the same purse also.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 29/01/2026 08:20

@Angelic999there’s an orchid Kennington on vinted now at the dip price. Sadly not the style I want.

Emailed. There do seem to be quite a number of duplicates surfacing! Wondering if this is going to diminish enthusiasm for the LD in general.

YellowPixie · 29/01/2026 10:03

Although Roka said delivery tomorrow, just had a text from Royal Mail saying delivery today. We shall see, our delivery services round here are rubbish. Crossing everything for a brightly coloured backpack/crossbody.

Zillieb · 29/01/2026 10:38

Same here Pixie! And I don't know what's coming yet.

Swearwolf · 29/01/2026 11:22

Well, I have brought my Camden in aquatic awe to work with me today and I’m very pleased with it! Everything fitted in and I like all the little pockets, and it’s looking all bright and cheerful under my desk!

I feel the same about my midnight navy Moorgate. The bag I never knew I needed. Perfect size, one strap not two so it doesn't fall off my shoulder, front pocket for work keys and my coffee cup stands up on one side without falling over. Love!
